Greetings! My name is Emily, but most of you know me as Embellished Angel in the gallery. I am a mom to four young ladies ranging in age from 5 to nearly 18. My handsome hubby Hans and I are both middle school teachers; he teaches 6th grade Science and I teach 6th grade English. We recently added a silky terrier puppy named Phineas to our happy, chaotic existence. My church family is extremely important to me and I often lead our worship time on Sundays. My days are full and busy with hubby, kids, dog, technology, photography, reading, and a few guilty pleasure reality shows!

Scrapbooking has been a part of my life for about 13 years. I started traditionally scrapbooking when my oldest daughter was 5 years old. As a paper scrapbooker, I amassed an entire room’s worth of gadgets, tools, papers, and embellishments. I would lock myself in my room for entire weekends trying to “catch up” on all my to-do list layouts. This actually made for a stressful hobby, which is so wrong on so many levels. LOL! I discovered digital scrapbooking about 4 years ago while making a family Christmas card. Discovering Shabby Princess came soon after and to say I was hooked is a massive understatement. The ease and efficiency of digital scrapbooking spoke straight to who I am and I have never looked back. I posted my first layout to Shabby Princess in January of 2011 and have considered it my scrapbooking home ever since. The gallery has been such a rewarding and comfortable place for me to share my layouts and I am utterly grateful for it. Joining the Shabby Princess team is beyond a dream for me and I cannot wait for what’s to come!
