I started scrapping digitally in January 2005 after picking up a copy of Simple Scrapbooks'
Digital Scrapbooking magazine. I had enjoyed paper scrapping but with the inconvenience and mess involved I wasn't very
productive. Digital was exactly what a busy mom with 2 active boys needed. I had Adobe Photoshop on my computer so I
taught myself how to use it and was instantly hooked. I still enjoy paper crafts and making cards but I have not paper
scrapped since going digital. I like to make my digital layouts look like paper as much as possible. My "online name" is
Shabby Grace because that is how I would describe my style- shabby and classic although I have been known to venture
from that on a whim. I am constantly inspired by things around me- my kids and their interests, interior design,
art, music, nature. I always have 100 ideas I want to try. I am a Martha wannabe. I love doing anything creative and
home/family related- scrapbooking, photography, interior design, arts and crafts with my boys, sewing/knitting, cooking
and gardening. I was recently featured in the Member Spotlight in Heather Ann Designs' newsletter.
