Vanessa was a paper scrapper or rather “Sort of a paper scrapper, I used those funky shaped scissors and all the cute stickers you could get!” lol. She found digital in July 2006 when her daughters daycare class needed a family photo for the class wall. She had been making signatures for people on one of her parenting board and had been collecting free Shabby Princess kits for a while. She decided she would give the whole digital scrapbooking thing a try. She did the layout and had it printed and was THRILLED. At that point she was 14 months behind on her daughters albums, but was caught up within 6 months by doing digital layouts. Vanessa really likes to try new things but, mostly just wants to tell the story of the photos and her family. She is most inspired by her family and the photos she takes of them. Her favorite thing to use on her layouts is Actions I guess, lol! I don’t think I have any little special tricks, I’m still learning new stuff everyday and I have a long way to go. My favorite photo actions right now at Little Moments Actions by my good friend Christy Nichols they are fabulous. I don’t think I do a layout without using them. Her favorite font is her own handwriting font! She loves being able to journal in her own handwriting. After she leaves the Air Force, she hopes to be a photographer!
