Janet says she pretended to be a paper scrapper before finding digital. She says if you count colored paper and wavy scissors as paper scrapping, then yes, she was a paper scrapper. But, she only finished two laytouts before switching to digital in Spring of 2005. She says her style is evolving…lol..but simple with a strong sense of design and she usually uses shabby or grungy papers and lots of fun stuff like paint and glitter. “I like to start my page in different ways -- sometimes I start with a photo I really want to use. Sometimes (well okay, a LOT) a new kit inspires me, and sometimes I start with a template and focus first on design and then fill in the details. I love to see how my pages evolve so differently depending on where I start!” Janet’s biggest source of inspiration comes form other scrappers and their work. Her favorite font right now is Mom’s Typewriter. Janet has been published in Creating Keepsakes Magazine, BHG Scrapbook Etc., and Simple Scrapbooks Digital Scrapbooking Magazine.
