Ashley has scrapped ever since she can remember. She says that the oldest album she has dates her scrapping to 1990 when she was a freshman in high school. She was a paper scrapper back then. As for becoming digital she “resisted the ‘hype’ for so long thinking that it could NEVER be as much fun as paper! She thought it could never look as good or have many areas for creativity. That is laughable now!” lol! The girl that used to have difficulty finding solitaire on the computer has now been digital for a year and a half. Ashley strives to make her layouts look as much like paper as possible. Although she loves using coordinated kits, she also likes to grab an unrelated embellishment to add some fun to her pages. Her biggest inspiration is her drive to be able to always remember the moments with her baby and “have the visual for years to come.” Her favorite tip is to try and duplicate what you see in scrapbook magazines, you just never know where it might lead. Ashley's favorite fonts right now are MA Sexy and SA Inkspot. Her other hobbies (that don’t compare—she says…lol) are computer programming and web design. She also says she loves to walk and can walk for miles without realizing she has done anything.
