Ladies.. please help. I am trying to complete a layout for a friend.. but it just isn't coming together for me! It has been lurking in my PSD folder for a while now and needs to be finished. The combined talents of the ladies here is such a great resource I thought that I would ask?

I saw something similar in a CK mag (aust) and if I could find the mag (it is my ONLY scrapbook mag) I would reference it properly! Sorry!

Mine just is NOT coming together at all... these girls are SO PINK.. everything they own is pink! and so a very pink LO suits them but I just can not get it to look right. ANY suggestions welcome... otherwise I might just have to start again....

Well, I clicked on your LO to tell you how neat I thought it was-lol! I don't think it's too pink at all! I'm truly NOT good at creating LO's though, so I guess I am soooo not the one to help you. The only thing I can think to do is to try putting thin borders around each circle and then using some drop shadows to "lift" them off the page a bit. That's what I'd try for a bit more definition, but then again, I have been know to try things and click "undo" immediately!!

I hope you get the result you want, but I still really like it already

i actually think it's a great layout, but if you think it's too pink, you could try reducing the opacity of the dark pink background to maybe 75%. you could also grunge up the photos to make the stand out more. just a thought, and don't know how it would actually look. but they're ideas to play around with. good luck. by the way, i love the font you chose. it's perfect.

Sorry Lanne....no suggestions here because I LOVE IT just the way it is! (I guess I should say that I'm a huge fan of pink.)

      I think it's perfect!!!

Yup, me too!! I opened it up to tell you how beautiful this LO is! I LOVE it!!! REALLY, everything, the stitching, the colors, the circles, the mix of photos and patterned paper, and the flower too! Sometimes, after staring at a LO for a long time, I think it's easy to lose perspective BUT this is REALLY AWESOME!!!!

This is beautiful! It's definitely an awesome lo just the way it is, but if you wanted to change something I would agree with defining the circles a little more. Maybe using a grungry brush and inking just a tiny bit around the edges? Don't think too hard though, this is gorgeous as is!!
