Hurricane Sandy hit the North East US really hard. Fortunately our area didn't get the major damage of the Jersey Shore and NYC. We did have major lines at gas stations as only 25% of our stations were open. Most people waited in line for over 2 hours just to fill up! I had to document our neighborhood to remember one of the worst storms to hit the United States in recent history.

      Kits used:
      Parker (most everything)
      Penelope - Journaling block

      Font - Pea Shirley

Hope you and your family are okay- that no one was hurt and things weren't damaged. I love that you scrapped this time- that's important. I love the stapled notepaper with the title and newspaper cutouts. Love this page! :0)

This layout goes beyond simply scrapbooking a moment. You have captured and preserved a time and an event unlike any other and you have done it in a thoughtful and creative way. Kudos to you for taking the time to sit down and document this moment. Thank you so much for sharing!
