Here is my submission for Template Challenge 28.
So, I had a page like this in mind while I was baking my Grandma's banana bread recipe, and feeling all homesick and sorry for myself. What a good page idea, I thought to myself! And perhaps theraputic too! It was going to be so lovely, with my beautiful loaf of iced banana bread lovingly displayed on a vintage-looking tea towel. Grandma would be so proud! But yeah, I forgot to take a picture of the bread. I just ate it. And it was delightful. Cheered me right up! At least I got a picture of the bread-making action and my special bowl!
      Supplies used:
      Memory Lane
      Penelope
circle alpha and doily from Heartfelt
      recipe paper from Plentiful
      home alpha from SP Promise
      Thanks for looking!

Ooo, I like it! So many clever and cute things going on here - the doily, the little house and the different alphas - lovely!

I love the idea of this page, and your execution of it is lovely. Growing up, we had a bowl like that with brown art around the outside - I wonder what ever happened to it. I love that you commemorated something so simple, but so meaningful. Memory Lane was the perfect kit to use, too - the colors compliment your picture so nicely.

Who could make bread without eating some right away? Your bowl is beautiful and I love the page that you've scrapped! The recipe, the doily, the colors.... everything is perfect!

Yep, I agree with Rosy. You have to eat the bread when it's hot out of the oven! I love your take on the template challenge. The whole thing is great - it's meaningful, beautiful, and creative.
