We spent the 4th of July back in my hometown. It was Jacobs first "real" 4th. The ones where we live now are just not the same. It was so nice to go home and let him celebrate the way I have since I was his age! Unfortunately, his daddy couldn't make the trip with us...he was deployed to Afghanistan at the time. We wish he could have been there, but it was still an enjoyable weekend!
