kris_t Not Too Shabby Registered: December 2011 Posts: 69	kits used: Almost every SP kit I have! layout: scrapping with liz template/ my own embellishments A friend of mine posted a story on Facebook yesterday (see below)....and my kids' craft at the library was in response to this story...and then you guys posted the rainbow layouts...and so I just had to do this here is the story, in case anyone wants to participate: "I think its a great idea so I am sharing!! Could everyone, including you big kids, draw a simple picture of a rainbow and mail it to Patricia Verhelst Box 355, Radville, SK S0C 2G0 by next week and I will send them all in together. There is a little girl in Saskatoon who is sick who wishes to get a rainbow from everyone in the world. Please write your name and where you are from on it. Lets make a wish come true if it was your child you would want that! Thanks everyone and please copy and paste this to help spread the word!" ok, so WOW...on SOOOOO many levels

this layout is AMAZING - i mean like incredibly awesome! i know this must have taken quite some time...but TOTALLY worth it! and yep - the timing is uncanny, huh?! you were MEANT to do this page

what a sweet thing for your kids to do...and no doubt will bring a smile to little Patricia when she receives them! yay to mom, too! thanks so much for posting this...i am still in awe

this is so totally gorgeous. I would lift this if i could ever do it justice. I LOVE the flowers down the diagonal. Totally breathtaking

Beautifully done! And what a wonderful inspiration!! I think my daughter and I may just need to make a couple rainbows as well for that little girl.

Thank you for you kind comments! This one just 'came together' for me, I don't know...I usually struggle a bit with my pages, but this one just sort of happened. I think I really loved having an excuse to make a rainbow page

Absolutely going to lift...both the idea of bringing joy to someone suffering and the layout! This is why I love scrapping and the scrapping community. There are always such great stories and happy things...even in the midst of hurt, suffering, and sadness. Way to go!
