.... of the self-imposed regime series of two-page layouts.

a year ago, I decided to only make pairs of pages because eventually they all end up in books.

man, that was a challenge. sometimes it was more stress than fun. paulina's 2nd year books are finished - yipppeee!
off to scrapbooking freedom = one page-fun! (I figured I'll just fill the second page with pictures and the same background paper as the scrapped page. as easy as that. and no more un-matching spreads!)

      thanks for looking!

You are seriously rockin' the neutral palette! Gorgeous!!! My fave is the little notebook paper hearts tucked in - they add just the right touch!

I prefer scrapping single pages too, but I really don't mind having unmatching pages beside each other. My everyday life isn't all organized and matchy, so why should my scrapbooks be? I do try to keep track of where the pages will go and make that it comes out evenly with the two page spreads that I do. By the way, this page is another stunning monochramatic delight!

SWOOOOON agree with all of the comments...your hard work has paid off! i had to laugh about the two-pagers because i am the same way...well, i go back and forth! sometimes i feel like they should coordinate and 'go' with each other...and other times, i'm more like rosy and think - WHO CARES...just go with it, lolol! i know i prefer (or at least feel less pressure) single pages most of the time! but, like you...for the opposite page - i generally just do a very simple page with lots of photos (because Goodness knows i always have extra pics, lol)! no matter HOW you arrange your albums though - no doubt they are gonna be outta-this-world-gorgeous! THANKS FOR SHARING

WOW - all those layers and details and textures in that border! and the tone-on-tone design! amazing And surely this IS NOT sweet little Paulina?! she looks way too old here...I distinctly remember her being a gorgeous little baby - not a beautiful little girl?!
