I couldn't believe my eyes when this photo was found. My mom is not a huge camera person, so its so rare to capture her on film. This picture was in a distant relative's photo box and he uploaded it onto facebook. I'm so thankful for him finding this rare glimpse at my mom in her late 20s!

Mostly every thing I used was from Gigglebox. I did recolor the frame a little bit to match the overall colors of the page.

I wanna say thank you to kylie-j for her beautiful Giggles and Grins page that she created. I scraplifted the layout that she created - hope she doesn't mind!!! If she does mind I don't mind removing this page lol. I'm new to digi scrapping and the galleries inspire me so much

Looks great! I love the photo! I guess horizontal stripes were popular in the 80's, huh? lol

This is a cool page! I love the combination of kits and the faint filmstrip is soo great. I may have to borrow that for a future layout. And "scraplifting" is welcome here. Katylady - still smiling about your stripes comment.

WOW!!!! I adore! I love how you treated the page, with the tilted piece on top for your actual scrapwork, with that awesome striped paper (which echoes your photo!) peeking out behind. This is a GREAT idea for using really bold patterned paper!

Love this page!!! Love how you've scrapped the memory and the stripes stood out to me as well.

Oh WOW!!!! Such a fab page!! And yes - scraplift away!!! I'm beyond flattered that you liked my page enough to take some inspiration from it! And your page is sooo cool - LOVE the 80's feel and the faded film strip goes so perfectly with the old pic of your mom, aunt and grandmother - and what a precious photo it is - they're soooo gorgeous together and are totally rockin' their stripes!! I love scrapping old photos... sentimental hearts, hey! THANKS SO MUCH for sharing!!!
