I haven't posted anything here in a long while! This is my mother and grandmother, circa 1941.

Stitched pennant template: Chelle's Creations (ScrapMatters). Cloud shape: Kaye Winiecki's Go Fish (cloud paper from SP's Blossom). Sailboat template: Designs by LK. Sailboat "mast": Gina Cabrera's Spoonful of Sugar. Boat bottom from wooden frame from SP's Bountiful. Wave paper: Erica Zane's Sail Away. Photo frame from SP's Hopscotch. Everything else from SP's Summer Cottage.

This just really jumps out from the gallery. It seems simple, but when looking through it it really has great complexity to it. I love the thinking out side the box on the boat pieces. I really love everything about this page. Every single detail, including the harmony of the elements with a great image. Superbly done, consider yourself being tagger for a lift soon! Amazing.

so is the mast one of the papers or an actual stick like element?

It's a stick element -- the kind of thing you'd have with a pinwheel.

funny you mention pinwheel...that's what I'm trying to create. Your boat and a little things here at the house inspired it. HAHAHAHA! Thanks!
