I don't know what I love more - the colors, the layout or those chubby cheeks!

Graphic, yet very creative and a great focus on your fabulous photos. Love the block of food words you used. Perfect.

This is such a fabulous page!! EXTRA-CUTE pic - yum, yum!! I'm loving the colours and the food list! The page has such a nice clean graphic feel to it but still has some cute little finishing touches like the glossy buttons and the little bows - ADORABLE!!! TFS!

And this is the first opportunity I've had to say: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for all your sweet words on my recent clementine layout. That is the loveliest comment I have ever received and it totally made my day, my week!!! So beautiful of you to take the time to do that!!! It means so much to me!!! I love digi scrapbooking so much and it's so fantastic to think that I have the ability to inspire others - that always amazes me - and I know that makes me love it even more.

Feel free to scraplift any of my layouts anytime! No need to ask first. I'm happy I can share and I'm happier still that you might love it that much to scraplift it in the first place!

My approach? Well I rarely re-do layouts - I keep at them until I'm happy with them - usually in one sitting, but not always. I only ever do one layout at a time. Sometimes if I'm not getting what I had imagined in my head or the layout is taking a different direction and I just can't make it work, I have, on the odd occasion, just pressed the DELETE button on the whole file. I take a break and then start again - and it always seems to help me get back on track. I do add lots and LOTS to my layouts - I can't help it! I LOVE looking at all those minimalist designs and wish that was my style - it'd be much quicker! LOL!!
I've only been doing digi scrapbooking for about a year and half but I have learnt so much - mostly from Shabby Princess herself, Nicole our in-house designer, the other shabby shoppe artists and all our fabulous gallery members - you included!! I really love to study each and every page I come across - although I haven't had much time to do that lately and I hate that - but I find the best inspiration right here. I take bits and pieces from everyone!!!!!
I also like to check out this site every now and again - http://gallerystandouts.com/fingerpointing/
I must also add that recently I've been making use of templates - that allows me to scrap more layouts for blog posts etc - otherwise there wouldn't be enough hours in the day to get everything done!! If I use a template I always credit it. Using templates also gives you some good ideas for designing your own pages. I will often modify templates to suit my own style too and can end up looking nothing like the original but it helped me get started so that's always a good thing.
Finally, scrapping with your heart and scrapping pages for YOU and your family is what it's all about. Never stop learning and evolving and having FUN!!!!!!
