I had been talking about it a while as I researched all the brands. Laura was so excited. It was just as much her gift as it was mine. She kept asking, is it hear yet? The next day after it arrived, despite the frigid temperatures, we bundled up and headed out for the river trail. You can’t see the girls in the picture, but they are happy and warm in there. The sun shines through the screen, highlighting a bit of Rachel’s bottle. Rachel took an hour nap in there as we walked about three miles. Laura was happy too and wanted to go farther but we all got hungry. Our maiden voyage was perfect, but we were crazy for going out in the cold! omg, lol, excuse the 'hear' instead of 'here'. it's late...you can tell...the journaling is just weird...sigh...off to bed....

"the journaling is just weird" No it's not - The journaling is my favorite part- I just love reading your stories!!! Isn't it great to get a new toy? The double seat bike trailer looks wonderful. It will make for many lovely walks - even the cold winter ones are fun! No you're not crazy because I can't even tell you how many times I have wanted to take my bike out and ride around even though it is freezing outside. I have braved it once but it was almost too much! Can't wait for spring!!!

lol Anna - I was really tired with what I now realize is the flu this morning. I guess it isn't too bad - thanks for such kind words!

I was and still am so out of it. Fever, sniffles, body aches, you name it, all with taking care of two kids (as you well know, moms don't get days off

). I can't wait for spring either!! But it was fun getting them out. I go stir crazy in the winter, so having this new stroller with the wind shield really helps me get out more. Not recently though, way too cold!!! Send any warm vibes our way!

Oh this is a great layout Carrie. I loved reading your journalling too. You've done such a brilliant job of layering/blending/clustering on this page. And I love your title. This would have to be one of my fave layouts of yours now. Sorry to hear you're not well - hope you feel better really soon. Sending lots of warmth your way from sunny Australia (well, the sun is out now and the rains have finally eased after our terrible week of flooding..)

I guess whether we have lots of snow like you or never have snow but have had a dreary cold week, we all get ready for spring by now, right? I've been complaining a lot this week about not being able to take the kids out much. My 4-year-old is asking at least every other day when he gets to go swimming (4 more months, buddy). So I just loved seeing your layout today... it made me smile

AMAZING layout!! So sorry it's taken me so long to finally comment! So many beautiful gallery layouts, so little time - LOL!!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE everything about this layout, the blending, the clusters, the b&w pics - perfect for winter layouts!!, the title work, the journaling, the stitching ..... did I miss anything!

I love winter and having hardly ever experienced snow I must say I'm a little envious - but sometimes too much of a good thing ain't such a good thing, or so they say! LOL! Hope by this time you've got over your flu and feeling much better! Still, I'll send you all some warm summer vibes along with Jenelle to get you through to Spring. And thanks for asking how we're going - all safe and sound as far as my extended family and I are concerned - we are very lucky, especially when my home state of Queensland is the one most affected by this tragedy and most of my relative still live there. We've been in drought for so long and now we all finally get rain.... there's that too much of a good thing, again!! Oh boy, sorry about the long comment!! Just kept typing....
