Last year Mamaw bought Pap Pap a Santa Claus suit to wear for you kiddos. So today
Mimi insisted that Pap wear it. Well he put up a little fuss but, finally we got him dressed
and ready to be “Santa Claus!” When he came through the door, he yelled out “Ho Ho Ho” in
the BEST Santa Claus voice ever. I couldn’t believe how good he sounded and how much
he got into playing the part of Santa Claus.
Kaytlynn immediately said, “It’s Pap,” and laughed but then he started talking to you kids and he sounded so different. It was hilarious, he was
talking like someone from a vampire movie or something. It was the funniest thing we’d ever
watched him do. Khylea Ray and Isaac were a bit scared, as you can see Mamaw is “trying” to
get Khylea Ray to go see Pap, Santa, but she did NOT want to. Finally I sat down by him and
explained that she was scared, trying to get him to talk in his “normal” voice, but all he was
hearing was “talk to her...” so he kept saying, “Khylea Ray, come here... but it was in the scariest
voice ever, we were all laughing so hard. It was such a fun thing, for us adults anyway Finally
he took off his beard so you could see his face and immediately Khylea Ray went to him. She’s such
a Pap Paps girl! Thank you pap for the wonderful memories!! We all got in on the photo op except
poor Isaac who was too scared. Khylea Ray is still happy to tell of ”OnCause” Pap Pap who
brought her a pesent!”
