These are three photos from Christmases when I was 5, 6 and 8 years old. For this challenge I branched out from my usual 8-1/2 x 11" format to work with the 12x12. I had fun working with the square format, as wll as working with pictures from my past. As if I didn't have enough backlog of my childrens' pictures to scrap--now you want me to get hooked on doing my own past!

I love how you made the photos into ornaments. We must be around the same age because I have very similar memories of that time period. My favorite (and now that I think of it, I should scrap the photo) was of a pair of white patent leather go-go boots. I also had the ballerina jewelry box, lite brite and I think my sister had that Barbie van for her Malibu Barbie and Ken! LOL Great layout!

What an amazing layout - I just love your design here. Placing the ormanents so they hang off the ribbon is a great idea and I love how you've made the photos ornaments as well. Very, very clever. This layout is fabulous!

LOLOL...i know, i know - i am SOOOOO in the same boat it will take me years to catch up just on my son's pictures and albums...so i CANNOT (i will not, i will not, lolol) start scrapping my own childhood photos yet but, it was a nice little break...and a lot of fun to scrap GIRL pics, lol!

you rocked the 12x12 size...i love the creativity with the 'ornament photos'...and that you took care of several years at once! it is all just excellent and you TOTALLY brought back memories with the ballerina box thanks for sharing!
