A fun layout for my
Holiday Meal Planning blog post - Nov 18.
These photos are over 10 years old now (had to scan them - quality-wise not too bad, I suppose!) It was our last family meal when all the 'kids' still lived at 'home'!
This was my menu - (my favourite was dessert - yum!! - but making pate was a first for me and I loved the intense smell of the garlic, herbs and livers - I can still smell it now!):
~ Chicken liver pate with cranberry compote and melba toast
~ Roast pork with apple seasoning, potatoes with sun-dried tomatoes and basil, beans in chive butter and honey carrots
~ Steamed ginger puddings with homemade cinnamon ice-cream, poached pears and butterscotch sauce.
I used a Shabby Princess -
Heartland - template and also a Scrap Matters Tuesday freebie template - 08-24-10 - for the bottom set of photos.
The kit is mostly
Autumn Chic with quite a few bits and pieces of other
Shabby Shoppe kits, except for the wooden spoon and plastic spatula - both from Lindsay Jane "Cooked to Perfection" kit.
Thanks so much for looking!
