This is my take on the trick or treat recipe challenge. I may have cheated slighty on the colors (just put in black), but I wasn't doing a "trick or treat" page. I am happy with the results though!

The story behind this page... My husband and I met in college and still have special memories of Texas A&M. And you know we love our football in Texas, so we still cheer on the team each fall! But my husband recently went back to school for a PhD, and he is at a rival school. We get comments a lot about being "Longhorns" now, but my husband always responds with "You gotta stick with your first love". We are still maroon through and through! Our football team hasn't been great in recent years, but we had a big win the day we took these pictures.

I watched that game! I thought OU was going to come back in the 3rd quarter, but Aggies held on! Gig 'em! (me, I'm a Gator girl!)

Love the design! your colors are perfect. Love the addition of the stitching and the ribbon - just wonderful!

I love the fact that you scrapped your family's first love - football - for the Trick and Treat recipe challenge!!! So clever!!!! And it's such a fantastic page - the black/white and tan looks great with all those maroon t-shirts. Love the journal tag and the crumpled sweetie-pie ribbon behind it. Great perspective with the middle photo and the bracket frame - how cool does that look!!! Thanks so much for playing along with the recipe!!
