This is my dh and I at the falls. We had the best time!!!

Journaling - We were in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. It was our last excursion of the cruise. We were excited because we had heard so many good things about the falls. We had no idea how fun it would be. The falls empty out into the ocean and this is where our adventure began. It was beautiful. We decided to climb the falls on our own because we figured with a guide we wouldn’t be allowed to go to all the areas of the river. We were glad we made that decision because we were able to go at our own pace, we were able to spend time taking pictures, and we didn’t have to hang onto complete strangers. We depended on each other and we did great!!! The falls were a bit slippery. You had to watch your step. We slid on rocks many times our first time up. Once we got the hang of it, we were braver. In fact, we decided to climb the river a second time without cameras and things that would slow us down. The first time up it took about an hour. The second time, we climbed the falls in 30 minutes. We cut our time in half! It was the most enjoyable adventure of the trip. The Jamaican’s were the most entertaining people. We loved their accents and speech. We loved their enthusiasm. We loved their selling skills.
We loved Jamaica!
