To go with my interpretation of the 'blue' theme of the new 'Once in a Blue Moon' paper collection, I chose this melancholy pic of my niece Emily. The journaling is the Elton John song "blue eyes". I love the lyrics and they went so well with the feeling of my page. But Emily doesn't actually have blue eyes - she has hazel - but don't they look sad!

Papers: Once in a Blue Moon. The cardboard background is from Hopscotch.

      Elements:
ric rac, stitching, button and flowers - the Barefoot collection,
heart, confetti circle, sequins and glitter - an affair to remember,
gingham bow - the Bella collection,
staples and vine stamp (re-coloured) - the plentiful collection
cluster frame - Once in a Blue Moon

Photo action: Old West (reduced opacity) & boost from Pioneer Woman plus some colour/gradient and contrast adjustments by me.

      Thanks for looking!

I think you are the master of paper blocking. Jenelle said, you are so talented. I'm liking the scatterings. I'm becoming addicted to those. I love the softness of the pics. I'm going to scraplift this okay? It's too irresistible. Plus, what a great mixed use of products here.

Gorgeous. I wasn't going to buy the paper since I have so many similar things in SP kits, but I think you've convinced me I need it.
