Recipe cards I created from the "French toast" templates now available at the Shabby Shoppe.

Some of the recipes I got from my mum years ago, others adapted from my cooking classes. They were typed on loose pieces of paper (how boring!). Now they look as good as they taste!

This page uses the new Once in a Blue Moon paper collection (love them!) and elements from Barefoot, Summer Cottage and its seasonal additions, and HopScotch. And the title fonts are Edwardian script and myriad pro.

Now the credits for each recipe card:-

All the kits are from Shabby Princess and are available at the Shoppe - digital kits HERE and additions HERE. (Sorry - don't have enough room here to hyperlink them all!)
Vanilla cookies (top left): HopScotch and its school additions. Fonts: LD little piggy
Royal icing (top right): Sprout, HopScotch, Olivia. Fonts: Missed your exit
Carrot cake (middle left): Clementine. Fonts: LD elegance, garamond.
Zucchini tart (middle right): Wonderful, HopScotch school additions, modish boy, summer cottage. Fonts: CK becky, CK jot
Salads (bottom): the barefoot collection. Fonts: Love ya like a sister, LDJ old typeface, courier new

      Thanks for taking a peek!

I bought this one because I rarely have photos for my recipe cards. I love what you've done with these. Still looking for those downloadable recipe cards so we can print them at home.

(nana_vg - this is the same reply I left with your comment on my first gallery upload) - Thanks ladies! Im so happy you like my little recipe cards! I had fun turning a pile of loose recipes (tattered with use!) into something special, for my own recipe folio, by making use of the templates. And that really was the whole intention here to show everyone what could be done with the new recipe card templates. The recipes themselves are so familiar to me that the directions are very brief and probably a little hard for someone new to follow. Plus some of the ingredients dont really translate outside of Australia. (A couple of recipes are from my favourite cookbook so permission would be needed here also). So, Im sorry, but these cards (in their current state) wont be available for download. BUT, Im sure in future Food Friday posts I may be able to revise some of them to post as a freebie so be on the lookout! And with the blog recipe cards I always make sure that as many people as possible can source the ingredients and follow the directions!
