My heart goes out to you and your boys. I understand this completely. My husband was a career soldier and he went to Vietnam twice and Korea once. And to this day, he says the biggest sacrifice he made during 24 years was the time not spent with our family. Please tell your husband how much I appreciate his service to his country. And, I know more than anyone else, about your service to your country as well. Keep the faith. And continue doing layouts about Clayton. Your hubby will really need to see them to appreciate his growth and development over the next year. This is such a bittersweet layout, but beautifully done.

What a sweet layout! It will be great for them to look back on years later, to remember this moment. Thanks so much for sharing it.

Such wonderful father and son photos and memories to treasure. Just like this layout - a treasure! Your journaling really celebrates their relationship. With the layout itself - I love all the buttons and the brushes/stamps you've used and the title couldn't be more perfect. Thank you so much for joining in on the template challenge and sharing these precious photos and this chapter in your family story. I wish all three of you the very best!

I just love this especially the photo with your little guy in the right hand corner. The look on his face and how he is up in the air is so joyful that it has me smiling wide right now! This is a truly incredible layout! AAWWW - Such sweet journaling! Good luck this next year as your husband is in Iraq. You are right - Their bond is strong!
