I tried to achieve a very "story book" feel with this layout. All paper is from "An Affair to Remember" which I just love because of the soft colors yet that beautiful blue just pops.

I started with a background of the Kraft paper then added 3 overlays (Amanda Rockwell CU Hodgepodge Transparent) in the colors from the kit. I also added a gold sparkle border from Nancy Rowe Janitz' Silver and Gold kit. I used Rhonna Farrer "Rhonna Swirls V. 9 and 10" with the papers from the kit to make clipping masks. I used the font "Gessele" and made a clipping mask which I "shabbified" using some brushes and the dodge tool to create a more faded look. The photo has been changed to sepia tone and then "Worn Photo Overlay" from Studio Manu was used over it. Lastly, I used the burn and dodge tool all over the entire layout to give it a little sun! Thanks for looking

Wow! Love all the overlay, mask, brush work here. Just beautiful!!! I looks so perfectly aged. Lovely. (p.s. I think we're the only ones that post at 1 am, lol).

I think you're right, except it's 12:00 here so technically I still have an hour to scrap, no? LOL

Wow - this is simply stunning. Thanks for sharing all the details on how you achieved this layout (I always wonder 'how did they do that?' when I look at people's pages!) I've never used the burn tool or the dodge tool - something on my 'must learn' list. Love the swirls, the colours (esp the blues) and your gorgeous photo. Just stunning.
