      This is my sweet granddaughter, Brynn - she has an obsession with phones. I wondered why she is always taking them and playing with them (and misplacing them for us sometimes - which makes us crazy). I realized she has all of us as examples.
      No wonder she is always playing with our phones!

      This is my take on the Easy-As-Pie Template Challenge {FIVE}

      CREDITS
      The Shabby Shoppe's an affair to remember
      Fonts - Verdana and CK Jot
      Alpha by Chelle's Creations - I used it as a clipping mask for the affair to remember papers

      Journaling - As I was looking at these photos of Brynn, I realized what an obsession our family has with their phones. Just recently, Garrett, Brett, and I have all new phones. Garrett upgraded to a 4G I-phone and it is incredible. I am amazed at all the apps. It takes fab. photos and wonderful video. He can edit and upload right on the phone. It’s amazing how great it is to find a restaurant or address so easily. He uses that phone constantly for so many things! What was Garrett to do with his old phone? He thought of selling it, but knew that I would love it. What a sweet son! He “jailbroke” the phone and I am able to use it with my T-mobile plan. I am not very quick yet and I have made countless mistaken phone calls, but I still love it. It has been much easier to get used to than my “Blackberry.” When Brett saw Garrett and I with our new phones, he decided to to give the touch screen a try. It was frustrating at first, but now he loves his. No wonder Brynn always pretends to be on the phone.

      How did you get the outline of the letter on top of your patterned paper? This is so darn cute. And so true. I love this layout and your jouranling.

      This is too cute! I would never think to scrap this but I have a few pics of my Laura who's fascinated with phones. She likes to type on the "computer" and have a phone in her hand and tells daddy that she is 'mommy' Lol! I may have to scraplift your idea! Your clustering is just absolutely beautiful. Lovely!

      nana_vg,

      I answered on your post HERE but I will answer here, too.

      You asked me "How did you get the outline of the letter on top of your patterned paper?"

      It was more difficult than I thought it would be - I clipped the paper to the entire letter, then I wanded the black outline and pressed CTRL J this gave me the blk outline on its own layer that I pulled on top of the clipped letter, then I did the same thing for the white outline and put it underneath. I kept repeating this until I had each letter the way I wanted it.
      Let me tell you - It took forever and probably wasn't really worth all the effort, but I did learn something new.

      I got the idea from a tutorial HERE which gives another way of doing it and probably a much better explanation than I just did!

      Thanks for asking - I hope my explanation helps.

      Super cute!! Love the "an affair to remember" papers and elements. The colours are so yummy! And those pics of Brynn are adorable with a capital 'A'. That smile just melts my heart! I can just picture her chatting away just like the 'big people'!! Very clever with the title work - I must give that a go too! Thanks!
