I've been working on this album for about three years off and on. I really hope to finish it one day. I thought I'd share the layouts I have made with SP kits.

Journaling reads: My father was a professional photographer. His knowledge of a camera and his ability to take beautiful photographs provided a living to support our family. One would think anyone growing up in that environment would know all about photography including f stops, shutter speeds, light metering, etc. But I learned absolutely nothing! After owning cameras that were automatic only and even a 35mm Canon Elan II E which I used only on the automatic and program modes, Iím now the proud owner of my second Canon Rebel Ė this time itís the XTI. In addition to the kit 18mm-55mm kits lens, I also own a 70-300 IS zoom lens and an external flash. What does all this mean? I now have the equipment and the desire to learn all the manual features of my camera in the hopes that I can do some pretty awesome photo shoots of my grandchildren. Iíd love to take some photography classes. Maybe thatís in my future Ė but I hope itís the near future. And, just to be on the safe side, I have a point
and shoot Panasonic with a 10x optical zoom that fits in my that fits in my purse and goes everywhere I go. That way I never miss a shot when I donít take the Rebel along. Considering its size, it takes pretty good pictures. And I absolutely love aking pictures. If I had to be stranded on some island and could take only a few things, a camera would definitely be one of them. Also pictured is a Casio Exilim which was my purse camera for a long time. I gave it to Ariana in December of 2008.
      (I've since upgraded to a Canon 7D)
