Great technique to discover - way easier! What was great about this photo, but only I know since it doesn't show, is that her shirt has a bitten apple on it. Kind of cute, since she's eating an apple! Mix bag of Blossom and Hopscotch. A lot of the green and red elements (flower buttons, flowers, tab, red torn edge paper) were recolored a bit to match the blossom/pinks. Yellow circle and yellow paper are from Summer Cottage. I created the apple. Kind of fun. Took some clip art, extracted, textured. Alpha is from Hopscotch. I think staple is from Promise? Also, I was inspired by some of the multi layered layouts. I find them hard. I get too much or not enough. So, trying to refine my technique.

Well done - great job on the extractions (I'm still practising..) Love the apple you created - clever you! How big is the apple your daughter is eating?!?! And how cute is that grin! Great page.

Lol jenelle, yeah the apple was huge but she insisted (independent three year old). Dad had to finish it. Yeah, the extraction can be tedious depending on how picky you are but I like how I could just click on x and switch from black to white (erasing or painting) and not have to start from scratch. Waaaayyyyy easier. Thanks Karen for the tips.

awesome extraction!! and WOW, you made that apple?? great job! It caught my eye right away. This whole layout is sooooo darn cute and pretty! the colors are just amazing. I love all the textures and layers, too. wonderfu!!
