Wow, this is an amazing first try

- you wouldn't believe it!

Firstly I ADORE the photographs - they are perfect, esp the little footprints in the sand (sooooo creative!). Secondly the colours and kit you used were just right for this LO and your journalling is straight from the heart!

This is such a wonderful first digi layout - I can't believe it!!! I never scrapped this well when I first started! Great take on the template challenge!!!

the first thing that i notice is your gorgeous photos - they are absolute perfection....i especially love the footprints! And, you did a WONDERFUL job with the template!!!!!!! LOVE the blended elements, and your journaling ! It is all fantastic - thanks soooo much for joining in the challenge...and sharing!

Thanks everyone! your comments are so kind (and encouraging). I can't believe I hadn't heard of digital scrapbooking until 2 months ago, and then I was way too busy with my newborn to try anything. I fell in LOVE with the sandbox summer collection and just had to try yesterday morning, thank goodness I have a ton of photoshop time under my belt, but the blog tips and tricks really helped with things I hadn't tried yet (like the blending). The tutorial on how to use the template was AWESOME! It was so easy to follow. I think I'm going to have to tell all of my mommy friends about digiscrapping now! Thanks again!!!

Beautiful work with the template and Sandbox is totally perfect for those amazing beach pics! I so can't wait to see more of your pages -such a brilliant start!!!
