Normally the days are hot & sticky, but this day we felt a small breeze blow by... Little Chick just lifted her face & closed her eyes, to take in that small moment of relief.

I used a combination of summer-y kits, but most items are from Hopscotch. I also used the sun from Bounce, the tree from Gigglebox, and the breezy swirls from Happy Go Lucky. I used Scallops, Shapes & More to create the hill.

The lyrics are from Seals & Crofts, Summer Breeze. If that song doesn't take you back to the 70's, I don't know what will!

Ohhhhhhhh....this belongs in a story book! I LOVE it! Those pics are AMAZING and too cute for words! I love that swirl for the wind and how it's picked up the flowers! And the hill using the polka-dot paper! And the journaling! This is one of my new faves!

I love this. The photos are striking - they just POP. And the layout reminds me, too, of a page in a storybook.

Love this layout. I love the way you created the different outdoor elements -- especially the tree! And now I'm humming the Seals and Croft song. (you're right, it does take me back to the 70's!)
