My son - being a ham!
Journaling tells about how he found a set of wheels from a toy tractor and decided they'd make a perfect set of dumbbells...complete with fake weightlifting drama! ;o)
      thanks for looking!

most everything from Hopsccotch, except alpha from Clementine and star stamps from Wonderful.

those pics are priceless, Beckie! I love the bold black alpha for the title, the edge strip that echoes the green polka dot paper & the addition of the Wonderful paper that works so well together w/Hopscotch.

What perfect pictures and what a story they tell. Love the little "exhausted" one at the end. This is a fun layout.

This made me laugh out loud - it looks like something my son would do, too. How did you do the little faded background for your journaling?

ooh!! that is a new favorite trick...

select a round brush with a soft edge, make it kind of big - and pick a color that will look like "fade"...I used the color picker tool to pick out the cream color from the polka dots. Be sure to create a brand new layer, and then brush over the area where you want to journal. You don't have to be too precise! Move it below your text layer. Then adjust the opacity of the brush layer until it looks right to you...I think I was somewhere around 40-50%. It will depend on how dark the background paper is. thanks for the sweet comment, too!! ;o)
