My baby starts school this year! WAAAAAHHHH!!
My layout for Karen's sweet recipe challenge! She had to go and ask for gooey journaling...and I've been SO consumed with the major event of my daughter starting school this year that I thought it would be perfect to scrap about that!
Journaling reads:
She is so ready. She knows her letters and numbers, can count to 100, and has many words already memorized. She listens to directions and follows instructions and loves to help others. We’ve already done our school shopping and the cute outfits and
dresses are hanging in the closet waiting to be worn (along with two new pairs of tennis shoes!). She knows she’s going to the “big school”, all of her other neighborhood friends go! Just thinking about my baby, my first sweet child, going off to school all day by
herself has already brought me to tears once. She’s still so small! And for the first time in her life she’ll be on her own all day. But I know she can do it, and since I loved school so much I am eager to see if she develops the same love of learning that I had as a child. I am so excited for her, so excited to see her grow and take this next step. Only two months to go!
