I created this layout for beckie's RECIPE CHALLENGE at the Shoppe's blog! I just loooove these pics that my SIL took of my niece in the little etsy apron dress i got her...is she a vision, or what? lol!

So - I used two patterned papers (one for the main background one one on the little scallop under the center photo) and two solid papers (the cream background scallop and the aqua blue background). I used an alpha, two fasteners (the flowers are what I'm considering 'fasteners' and NO, that is NOT cheating lolol , three photos, and five miscellaneous embellishments (ricrac, lace, stitching, button and journaling paper). The flower on the 'o' is a freebie since it was just a clipping shape and a solid paper (the same one i used for the cream background scallop). Whew - i think that's it i had ALOT of fun with this...thanks beckie - and it came together soooo much quicker than i thought it would. i normally spend HOURS ona layout...but having these 'guidelines' really helped to get this done!

The papers, flowers and lace are from the SPROUT COLLECTION

The alphabet (recolored), button, stitching and ricrac are from the SUGARPLUM DREAMS collection

and the scallop and flowers shapes are from the SCALLOPS, SHAPES & MORE collection

      THANKS FOR TAKING A PEEK

Such a sweet title - I love the way the focus is on the photos with this design!) thanks for participating in my little recipe challenge!

whew...so much to comment on...I came here before starting my own recipe, just to make sure I'm clear on how to add the ingredients. :-) Typically when I bake, I skip a step or leave out an ingredient & I don't want to do that here! LOL! But first I have to say what an adorable Etsy dress. I LOOOOOVE looking through the children's (okay, girls) clothes. And that one's TOO cute...and so is your niece. :-) The papers compliment the dress perfectly & I love the green & aqua with the snap of pink. It's a beautiful l/o but the pictures are so, so precious.
