: How do I use the ribbons, jewels, alphas, etc. (.png files)?
Answer : Embellishments are almost always saved in a .png file format. This format allows for a transparent background. So, you simply open the .png file in your software program and drag it or place it over your paper or layout. You will need to make sure it is on the TOP layer in your layout and voila! Easy as that! Of course...this is assuming that your software supports .png files (most do)!!!
