Hi everyone! :o) Kylie here with a brand new TEMPLATE CHALLENGE! We’re always excited to bring you a fun, new template challenge each and every month here at the Shabby Shoppe blog! This month, we have Easy-As-Pie Template Challenge SEVENTEEN!! And, I have to tell you – I had a lot of fun designing this template…and even more fun scrapping with it! We would love you to join in all the fun too! :o) You will have several weeks to scrap your own page and enter the challenge…and remember, our templates are just a starting point! If you are not a big fan of ‘clustering’ or ’scattering’…simply remove/delete a few of those layers. The ‘deadline’ for this challenge is OCTOBER 30th :o) We will announce the template challenge winner on November 3rd, when we share Template Challenge EIGHTEEN! First we have Shabby Princess…love, love, LOVE her precious layout! An absolutely beautiful mother and son photograph, beautifully scrapped with Gracie…a treasured page, for sure! If there was ever a way to perfectly scrap ‘LOVE’…this has to be it!

How awesome is this page?!! Sweet Rachel brings her own creative scrapping style to the new template…it is beyond re-freshing, and so is her use of Gracie too! And just look at that adorable puppy-dog face! Oh my! 

I used the new Gracie kit for one of my pages too! (Same template, same kit…but three different looks!!) I went for a more organic (somewhat, tropical) look for this take on Template Challenge 17.

And for my other page I chose the sweetness of the Blossom collection and had way too much fun with all the cute butterflies!

The wonderful Anna crafted this fantastic back to school page using the current Product Spotlight kit – Silly Boy :: Nut-Nut! Anna’s rockin’ that kit!

And to round off our gorgeous examples, a second page from Anna! Here she kept it nice and simple by taking away the layered clusters and rotating the  template to suit her beautiful photograph. Stunning job Anna!! …oh and I gotta say your kids are the sweetest!!! :o)

Now for a fun, fun, FUN page from the lovely Beckie! This is summer lovin’ at its cutest and the whole page shines from one adorable corner to the other! …looove it!

Oh my!…next we have a gorgeously scrapped page by the amazingly-talented Rachel. Her sun-kissed photos are a real treasure and I love how she rotated the template to complement her pics…doesn’t it look awesome!!

And here is one from me! A special keepsake in honor of my special dress! (Yeah, I know… I said I designed this template with thoughts of “fun” and frivolity dancing about my head, and then I went and scrapped something you wouldn’t exactly equate with fun?! LOL!! Pretty, classic, vintage are the words that come to mind first, huh?! …oh and a pinch of fun too! But that is the awesome thing about templates… the possibilities are endless – so go with the flow, I say!)

With the business part out of the way…HERE is the FUN part of the post – some inspiration! And, I was so excited when I first laid eyes on SP’s version of the new template… I just HAD to share it with you first! A summer vacation page bursting with inspiration! It’s fabulous, fun and just screams SUMMER in all its deliciousness!

I love playing with a layered template – and, more often than not, I play over and over again! ;o) It’s my little blank-‘ish’ canvas and I can’t help but dream up different looks and feels for each new photograph I scrap. I did two layouts using the template, but this is my favorite!! 

Next we have the lovely Anna and her heavenly page! The photo is full of sweetness and light and all that gorgeousness if reflected in Anna’s beautiful scrapping!

Here is a very special page from our super-talented Beckie. Isn’t it absolutely enchanting!! Loving the rectangular photo and that amazing title!

And last but not least, beautiful Mariquita has turned the template into a summer masterpiece as well! Her page is a JOY to look at… pure happiness!

I really gave this template a solid work out and created three pages!  Here is a sneak peek of my two faves… the first, well I went a bit embellie-crazy!

And for my second page – notice the new Birthday Bash paper?! If you haven’t checked out all the May birthday goodies click HERE – you’ll LOVE what’s on offer!! 

Next is the super-talented SP! How awesome is this page? Seriously… WOW! Those Just Married Stickers are amazing!  And that chef has got to be the cutest chef I’ve ever seen!

Lovely Anna has shared this extra-gorgeous page! Such sweetness… just look at those big brown eyes… awww!

And last (but definitely not least), our newest team member, Rachel did such a beautiful job with the template! I’m loving how she rotated it to suit her adorable princess pics… and that delicate clustering is precious!
