Happy Tuesday everyone!  It’s Jenelle here with our latest Product Spotlight.  A favourite kit of mine, I have to say and one that is so versatile – I just love it!  It’s the divine Gabby Collection and it is ON SALE now in the Shoppe for a limited time only, at just $5.15.  If you don’t already have this kit in your stash, I’m pretty sure you’ll be feeling inspired to add it to your wishlist by the end of this post!  LOL!!!  It really is gorgeous and I’m pretty sure you’re going to love the new layouts the team have come up with using Gabby.  So let’s take a look at this beautiful collection shall we?

I’m certainly going to re-iterate SP’s words when I say that this kit is super fun, quirky and a little whimsical.  Perfect for all types of layouts and themes ~ baby, family, indoor, outdoor, boy, girl – you name it!  It works for everything.  Such rich, vibrant colourings and those chic little birdies are definitely my favourite element from the collection.  Have you seen them popping up on pages in the gallery – they are just too cute aren’t they?

I often reach for this kit (well, click for it really!) as I find I am really drawn to the colours.  I am also a big fan of those leaves and branches.  They come in very handy when decorating a page and I love the effects they give when you add some shadow work to them.  From the folded and creased papers to the gorgeous ‘fairy wing stamps’, there really is so much in this collection to keep you scrapping year after year (I know I have!)

Here’s a baby layout I created using the Gabby collection – my little Nick when he was a wee 6 months old – where have those 7 years gone?

And here are two masterpieces from Kylie (well, would you expect anything less?!?!?) using this wonderful kit.  I am in LOVE with the word art on Kylie’s ‘Together’ page…it is one of the pre-made clustered titles from the FAMILY word whimsy collection.

Rosy has created two beautiful layouts with a real tropical theme (Gabby is perfect for this as well!)…  It’s funny – I always think of Rosy when I use this kit.  Those little birds always look so gorgeous on her pages and she always uses them to perfection in my opinion!

Kim and Casharina have also showcased the collection beautifully with their latest layouts.  I adore the pink grid paper Kim has used as her backing paper – it looks so effective!  Casharina’s title work is amazing using the brilliant alpha from Gabby.  Stunning work ladies!

Hello everyone!!!  Kylie here with today’s Product Spotlight! :o)

It’s always a JOY to put together a Product Spotlight post for you all…and it was certainly no exception in the case of this charming lil’ kit…

Country Charm truly is a wonderful little collection…can’t you just feel the sunshine?!  Yep…let’s just take a moment, ladies, to bask in all that glorious vitamin D! LOL!! (Ya see, it’s getting a wee bit cold down here – in Australia - and scrapping with this kit is a perfect way to warm my soul as the winter weather sets in!)  Full of bright primary colors and darling little floral, paisley & gingham details, Country Charm is timeless and ever-sooo versatile.  LOVE the burlap and denim textured papers, the twill ribbons, the stitched alpha and sweet little wordart sentiments.  Scrapping for girls, boys, or both, really is a breeze.  Perfect for spring, summer, outdoors, school…or just because!  And why not mix and match with your other Shabby Princess kits for that extra pop of cheerfulness :o)

Now, a product spotlight isn’t a product spotlight without some scrapping INSPIRATION!!  So let’s get right to it…

Here is a “just because” page from me!!  I fell in love with all the papers, especially the sweet florals…layer after layer!

And the kit was a perfect backdrop to this fun lil’ beach iphone pic of my nephews!

Casharina used the perfect touch of Country Charm to scrap this darling photo of her sweet, sweet girls!

Speaking of sweet…Kim’s page is pure 100% sweetness!!  Just look at her youngest, Sammy - oh my what a sweet sunshine-y photo!  And stunning scrapping, Kim!

And last, but never ever least, Jenelle crafted a beautiful 3x4in card for her fabulous project life folder…how clever is she?!  A perfect little design using the stitched word art and charming bird stamp…LOVE IT!!  And wouldn’t it double as a wonderful greeting card or framed artwork for a little one’s nursery?!

I find it hard to believe that the super-sweet Country Charm kit was released back in 2005…7 years ago!!  This is the first time I’ve scrapped with it and to me it is still as bright and fresh as if it hit the Shoppe yesterday!  So if you’ve been lucky enough to own this cool little collection for a while now, we’d love to see how you scrap with it now!  And if it’s not part of your digi-scrap stash yet, please drop by the Shabby Shoppe and pick it up while it’s ON SALE…for only $3.50 (that’s 36% off)!!

Hi everyone!  It’s me, Casharina and today I have the honor of bringing you the Product Spotlight! YAY!!  So this week I get to spotlight one of my most favorite kits, the Bounce collection! ;)

The Bounce collection is perfect for ALL sorts of projects.  I love the bright colors and fun stickers that the kit has to offer, as I said it’s one of my favorite kits from the Shabby Shoppe!  The bright colors are great for outside layouts, sunny day layouts and I especially love it for my art project layouts.  If I had to choose my favorite part of the kit I’d say it is the alphabet, I LOVE the crazy letters and they’re GREAT for re-coloring!  I also have to say that the stitched paper sun is probably my second favorite part of this kit, I think I’ve used it on just about every outside layout I have!  It’s so darn cute!  Just look how it adds the perfect touch of color to this page:

 I also chose to use this kit to create a goodbye present for the student teacher in my child’s classroom.  I made a custom name sign for her door that she can use when she gets a job!  This project would also be great to use for a baby shower gift!  To create this project I used the alpha from Bounce along with the Fun Flash Cards set. I actually extracted some of the clipart from the cards to use on the sign.  In addition, I used the cards for ideas on other embellishments I already had in other Shabby Shoppe kits…such as the watermelon from the summer cottage SEASONAL additions, the ladybug from the Twirl collection, and the key from Sprout.  Endless possibilities!  Now, back to Bounce!!

Need more inspiration on what you can do with the Bounce collection?  Well the Shabby Artists have designed some super cute layouts to share with you!

First up we have two from the wonderful Miss Kylie!  Aren’t these two pages just adorable. I LOVE the raindrops made from paper, and the little frog tucked in behind the photo, just perfect.  Her second layout shows how easily other kits such as the Blossom collection, coordinates with Bounce.

Here is an amazing vacation page by Shabby Princess!  100% pure FUN…and a perfect example of lots of space on a page to tell your story and preserve all those wonderful memories.

Last, but certainly not least, we have the talented Kim, who brings us another beautiful layout.  I love how her layout is pieced together…it really makes me think of how you stack legos together.  And Rosy shows how easily this kit can cordinate with others, even an Affair to Remember is being used here.  Beautiful layout Rosy!

Hello everyone!  Kim here with a product spotlight that comes just in time for all those Spring and Easter photos that are all ready to be scrapped!  (And if you’re one of our friends that is in the middle of fall instead, I promise this kit is so versatile there are tons of possibilities!)  Let’s take a look at the Sprout kit and it’s Easter additions.

I remember the Sprout kit was one that I had to have as soon as I saw it.  It obviously is great for scrapping Spring and Easter (especially if you add in some of the great elements from the Easter additions).  Here is a layout I made to capture one of my kids’ favorite Easter traditions (I’m not sure if they like finding the eggs or eating the candy more!)

Beyond Spring and Easter, I come back to the Sprout kit again and again for other kinds of layouts.  And I have to say that one of my favorite elements from the kit is the stem of leaves.  For this layout, I mixed those leaves with the rub-on swirls from the Easter additions and love the effect!

I really could go on and on about all the papers and elements in this kit!  There is just no way to show them all in one or two layouts.  That’s why it is great to have the shabby team to give us all more inspiration.  Great job ladies!  These are all unique and lovely!

Hi everyone!  It’s me, Casharina, and today I have the honor of bringing you the Product Spotlight! YAY!!  So this week I was given the opportunity to spotlight not only one kit, but two wonderful kits…another YAY!! ;)  Most everyone that scraps has a lil’ prince or princess to scrap about, right?  Be it a son, daughter, niece, or nephew, grandson or granddaughter, they’re special and we want to scrap those special moments with them.  So to represent all of our lil’ prince and princesses, I’m spotlighting the Shabby Shoppe’s beautiful kits: Our Little Prince and Our Little Princess.  These two kits are absolutely adorable, and the best part is they have so many cute embellishments and colors that they lend themselves easily to layouts that may not even focus on “babies.”  Both kits will be on SALE in the Shoppe at the wonderful price of only $4.75 each (for a limited time!)

My favorite elements in these kits are the sanded chipboard pieces including: little crowns, stars, and hearts…they’re so adorable.  I also love the different papers with the neat little patterns on them.  Word art and a chipboard alpha are also included in each kit.  They are great for a number of different types of layouts!  So, are you looking for a little inspiration?  Continue scrolling to see some beautiful layouts from the very talented Shabby Artists using these kits.

First up are my own layouts, featuring my girlies!  I love the patterned papers in these kits and thought they’d be perfect to embellish a page all about a simple photo!

 For the next layout, I’ve used a mixture of the two kits along with the free template from the latest Easy-As-Pie Template Challenge #21…if you haven’t done so, check it out (entries close soon!!)  This page features my little princess and her first time tracing!  We were so excited; seriously this is a HUGE progress for us! Lol

To incorporate the purple into this layout I just adjusted the colors a little, you can find more details on how to do that in this post here!

 Next up are the beautiful pages from Kylie, I just LOVE the way she has altered the hearts and stars to make a lovely garland, so pretty!

Kim has also featured each of the kits in these two layouts! Such a beautiful way to again use patterned paper to help focus only on the photo. I LOVE her layouts, so sweet! The way she has added the words “welcome” in the tags using the alpha and bows is just perfect!

Another beauty to inspire you is a layout from Rosy showing off her beautiful baby girl. Her use of the alpha is perfect for her title, and what about those perfect little flowers cut from the papers, a great way way to coordinate!  And a wonderful way to use these kits is to create hybrid photo cards such as this one that the talented Jenelle has created.  Isn’t the banner just adorable, it adds the perfect touch of celebration to such a sweet image.
