Hello everyone and Happy Valentine’s Day to you all!!! :o)  Kylie here with a huge product spotlight…all about happiness and L.O.V.E.!  Today has to be the sweetest day of the year and to celebrate the Shoppe is having a 30% off SALE on all it’s valentine-themed goodies…for a limited time!!  As you capture those too cute to forget moments today we have just the products to help you scrap and preserve them! YAY!  Some kits you may already own, some you may be seeing for the first time.  I’ve included some fun additions and some lovely inspiration from our talented team too…that may help spark some lovely creativity!  Now this post is going to be extra-FULL of love, so first off…THANKS for being ever so patient while the blog post loaded…and secondly, as it’s already jam-packed with bunches of sweet pics SO I’ll let them do the talking and leave the text to a minimum!  How’s that sound?! ;o)

The first kit is as sweet as sweet can be…and a favorite here at the Shabby Shoppe!  The SWEETIE PIE kit is overflowing with papers and elements to create all of your Valentine’s layouts…and MORE!  (I’m forever using little pieces of it here and there!) 

Here is a new page I created using Sweetie Pie!  I just love the colors ~ poppy red, bright and soft pinks, turquoise, purple and little black & white.  Oh and the little ladybugs are too cute!

Looking for last minute cards to send via email?  Well, check out the XOXO cards.  And hey, they make perfect everyday cards too ~ thank you, hello, thinking of you, birthday, announcements…the list goes on!  And if you have not yet laid eyes on the XOXO confection collection you’re in for a real treat…it’s the most adorable ‘treat apparel’ collection there is!

…and here is my layout using this lovely, lovely kit.  Yours Truly is an absolute joy to scrap with and looking at it now makes me just want to hug the page! LOL!

It was love at first sight with this kit…the CAROUSEL collection!  SP says it best ~ “The perfect kit to scrap all the loves in your life! People, things and everything in-between, this kit will lend its hand to creating some beautiful pages with your memories!”  Perfectly shabby in every way!

I needed to scrapped one of my very special moments…and Carousel was my go-to kit!  The words shabby, vintage, eclectic…music to my ears… and heart!

My nieces love a bit of drama…a recent impromptu tango performance ~ not to be forgotten!  Hilarious!  Wild Love was such a fun kit to use here.  Yes, it can be sophisticated and elegant with its beautiful damasks and textured papers but it also has a light-hearted, whimsical side…and I took full advantage of that!

Hello everyone!  It’s Kim here today with a product spotlight for you!  I am happy to be sharing the Wonderful kit with you, as this is a kit I’ve admired when I’ve seen layouts in the gallery.  But I confess… I haven’t used it until now!  Have you??  I really enjoyed having a new (to me) SP kit to work with, especially one that fits little boy layouts so well.  (Although, it’s not limited to boy layouts, as you will see from the inspiration below!)

I think you will agree this is a wonderful kit ;) and it is on sale for a limited time for $4.50.

Now how about a little inspiration?  Here is my layout made entirely with the Wonderful kit.  My favorite elements from this kit are the alpha and the scattered stars stamp!

And of course the Shabby Team has created more lovely inspiration for all of us.  This layout by Kylie not only has a very creative design, but it also has some inspiring words for the new year!

 Wouldn’t this album make a great grandparent brag book?  And these pages are perfect for those scrap projects you need to complete in a short timeframe.  If you’re not familiar with the piece-a-cake pages, they are flat files that you simply insert photos and text and – voila – you have a complete layout!  Here’s an example.  All I added to the page was my photo, journaling and title.

Hello Shabby Shoppe readers, Rosy here with a product spotlight for you!  Do you have winter pictures to scrap, but don’t want to use the traditional cool colors that come in most winter kits?  Then the Tropical Winter kit will be just what you need!  This is one of SP’s first kits, designed in 2005 :o)

With the pretty pinks and oranges, this kit is perfect to scrap any girlie photos too, whether they’re winter related or not.  And, it’s on sale for a limited time, for only $4.50!

Lots of fun and textured papers…digi stamps and word art!  So many fun details in this kit – and how cute is that snowman?!

Hey everyone…Kylie here again!!  Do I have a treat for you today?!…a fun AND huge HOLIDAY PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT!  Joy, Joy, Joy!!  This year we decided it was far too hard to pick our favourite holiday-inspired kit to spotlight, so we are featuring ALL of them, yes…ALL OF THEM!!  First, let me say THANK YOU for waiting for the entire post to load…with all the amazing kits and inspiration I have for you my post just got bigger and bigger as I went along!  So, I guess I won’t ramble on any longer…and instead will just get right to the FESTIVITIES!

Here is a short preview of each kit so that you can see what’s on offer in a little more detail. (Of course there is even more information, inspiration and preview details over at the Shabby Shoppe)  I’d also like to share the layouts I scrapped, especially for this product spotlight, using each one of the kits (I sure did have a lot of FUN…and I love how differently they turned out!).  And finally, a product spotlight is not a product spotlight without some AWESOME inspiration from the girls!

SP’s most recent holiday kit is the magical Sugarplum dreams!  The name along fills me with the spirit of the season!  It is a delight to scrap with…a little bit of sparkle, shine and SHABBY-ness!  And if that wasn’t enough, the sugarplum additions will extend your scrapping options even more and add the perfect amount of sweetness and whimsy to your holiday and winter pages!

I combined both the full digi-kit and the additions for my Christmas Angel layout.  It’s like being a kid in a candy store…so many pretty things to look at and make use of – I just kept layering and layering! 

I do believe it is time for Believe! ;o)  Festive blue, red and green…bright and cheery and wonderfully whimsical – perfect for all of your unforgettable holiday memories!  I love the fabulous papers and the digi-stickers…and the ever-popular alpha!  This kit is a must for all of your holiday projects!

Oh, did I have fun with this one!!  I made use of one of the Nostalgic Easy-As-Pie templates (also available at the Shoppe) and to the Believe kit I added a little sparkle with some glitter, a couple of stars and finishing touches from other Shabby Shoppe kits!

Ahhhh, Joyful Tidings…this sweet little collection is a winner!  Subtle, pretty, eclectic - a truly fun holiday kit.  It has a refreshing colour palette and a classic feel…especially with the beautiful holly/bird paper (my fave!).  And if you missed it, the latest template challenge (no.19) has a free piece-a-cake quick page as a bonus download that makes full use of what Joyful Tidings has on offer – check out the freebie HERE!  But I know you’ll be wanting more so stop by the Shoppe for a full preview!

I think this is my favourite new layout!  To match my photo I added a little blue and some sparkles to the gorgeous Joyful Tidings papers and elements…I was quite surprised with the end result!  And, boy have my nephews grown since this pic was taken!

Traditional Christmas colours with a Shabby flair! – that says it all really!  ‘Twas the Night a timeless kit and a Shabby Shoppe favourite!  Special holiday pages and everyday fun is what this kit is made for.  I use it all the time!! :o)

As I was browsing through all my photos I’ve come to realise that I really don’t have many holiday snaps…things get so busy, especially in the kitchen, and I forget to capture the day and days leading up to the main event.  I must take more this year!  But in the meantime, I decided to scrap a page with this gorgeous vintage postcard, all the while dreaming of a White Christmas. (“white” from snow and not “white” from hot sand and heat glare here in Australia! LOL!)  ‘Twas the Night was perfect to capture the vintage feel I was looking for!

Our final kit to spotlight!  I must admit this kit is very new to me, even though it is the oldest holiday kit in the Shabby Shoppe.  And I’m absolutely loving getting to know Holiday Joy - you will too!!  Holiday memories, family traditions, warm hearts and many smiles will go perfectly with this boldly textured collection!  Oh and I do love me some puffy felt elements!

I really wanted to play with the gold tones of Holiday Joy and bring out the fun in my reindeer page.  Bright, bold and quintessentially joyful!  Love it!

To round out the gorgeous inspiration we have a little hybrid project from Jenelle.  These are beyond pretty and even though they look fairly quick and easy to put together they look AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING and as though they were bought from a shop!!  Well done Jenelle!  And using the Sugarplum dreams along with the Holiday Gift Tags Vol 1 was genius!  You’ll notice that I also used these awesome little gift tags to label most of the graphics in today’s blog post!

Hello everyone, it’s Jenelle here with a new product spotlight for you all.  I believe the weather is really starting to cool down in the northern hemisphere and winter is only days away for some of you (mind you, Kylie and I are sweltering in the heat Down Under here!).

This week, I’ve selected a gorgeous kit for us all to admire and one that I think you could use whether you’re approaching the chilly season in the north or the summer sun here in the south.

Drum roll please…  LOL!!

 Yes, it is certainly well deserving of its XL title.  Winter Chic has just enough chill with its cool colours to be paired with your favourite winter photos, but enough warmth to carry you through the warmer months.  It‘s loaded with gorgeous stitched felt elements – reminiscent of cozy blankets and sweaters during those chilly days and nights of winter.  With fun flowers, an envelope with a letter in it and so much more in between, this kit will keep you busy scrapping for a long time!  Here’s a layout I enjoyed making about a friend’s new baby, using the gorgeous papers and elements from this versatile kit.
