LOTW

Welcome to a new week, everyone!  And you know what that means?  It’s Kim here today to announce another Layout of the Week!!  There were a lot of layouts to choose from this week in the gallery.  I am loving seeing all the new SP kits in your layouts, and you’re all rocking the current template challenge.  So it was tough to pick just one layout, but I had to do it :)   Congratulations to aconover’sNo Training Wheels” layout!

This layout caught my attention right when I saw the title: What’s Missing?  I just had to click on the thumbnail to see the whole layout and find out what it was!  I was glad I took the time to look at this one too.  This layout makes great use of the Gracie kit (which is still on sale for a short time in the Shoppe).  I like pops of pink in the strip of paper and recolored hearts.  I can’t help but love the words “training wheels” on the photo frame strip.  There are a lot of great details to look at in this layout!

Thanks for sharing this one with us, aconover!  You’ve been emailed a $10 gift card to the Shabby Shoppe (please check your spam if you don’t see it)!

And thanks to all of you for sharing your layouts in our gallery.  Keep them coming!!  That’s all for today, but be sure and check out the blog on Wednesday as Kylie shares our next Gallery Girl.  Can’t wait to see who it is!

Happy Monday everyone! :o)  Kylie here…with Layout of the Week!  We had an awesome time speed scrappin’ over the weekend.  THANKS again Kim for hosting a brilliant event and to all those that played along!!:o)  And if you couldn’t join in the FUN this time round - we truly hope to see you for the next Fast & Fabulous!

For LOTW this week, I’ve chosen Charlotte – 2 months by lala777 – soooo sweet!

Such a beautifully scrapped layout!  And the photo…oh my!  Not only is it all sweetness and baby cuteness, but how about its treatment…love the creativity shown here by the very talented lala777!  The clustering (and I do LOVE a flower cluster or two!) is perfection and the choice of background paper is amazing – it not only sets off the bright pops of color but complements the soft black & white photo…an inspired combination!!

Congratulations, lala777!  Watch your e-mail (and don’t forget to check your SPAM folders if you don’t see it!) for a $10 gift card to the Shabby Shoppe …and enjoy your shoppe-ing!

THANKS to EVERYONE that posted LO’s in the gallery last week…it was a such JOY to look through them all!

Thanks too for stopping by the blog today…so glad you did!  Casharina will be here tomorrow with a beautiful product spotlight!  See you then!! :o)

Hi everyone!  Kylie here :o)  Hope you all had a sun-shiney and happy-scrappy weekend!  I’m back again to do Layout of the Week…which is always lots of fun for me!  Today…the Shabby Shoppe Blog LOTW title goes to…(drumroll, please!!)…

Grade 1 by the very talented georgiayost!

How cute and creative is that photograph?!  Super CUTE!!  I just love the idea of photoshopping last year’s kindergarten photo into the empty frame sweet little Kieran is holding up…sooo creative!  Wonderful use of the bright and cheery Gracie collection.  It’s the little touches that really make this page…the little paper pinwheel and button standing side-by-side, the stitched border, the paper hearts, the ‘love’ stamp – and more!…all wonderful details and all add a little whimsy to the layout and a smile to my face!  A perfect first day page!

Congratulations to georgiayost!  We hope you enjoy spending your $10 gift card in the Shoppe and we look forward to seeing more of your beautiful pages.  (Don’t forget to check your SPAM folder if you can’t find my email in your inbox).

Thanks for checking in today!  Enjoy your day/night and be sure to visit again on Wednesday…Casharina has a great little tip to share with our photoshop users!

LOTW :o)

Hi all…Kylie here!!  I hope you’ve all had an enjoyable and very special weekend!!  Whether you celebrated Father’s Day yesterday (like my fellow Aussies) OR Labor Day weekend in the United States OR perhaps just a happy-scrappy weekend…whatever the reason, I hope you had a lovely time spent with family and friends!! :o)

It’s my turn, once again, for choosing a favourite page from our Shabby Shoppe inspiration gallery for Layout of the Week!  Oh you (very talented!!) gals make it sooooo tough, you have no idea?!!!! ;o)  So many wonderful layouts to choose from…page after page!  In particular, I’m loving all the bright summer layouts – so much colour, so much fun!  It certainly makes the gallery a HAPPY place to be!!  So, back to having to pick only one…I picked this sweet layout:

Strawberry Jam by kirplnk

Well first off…I love fresh-picked strawberries, I love making jam, I love eating jam…so, of course, it’s no surprise that this amazing layout sparked my interest!  I love the way kirplnk has added the skillfully blended photo to the background.  The strip of red polka-dot paper bordered by pretty lace, the cute arrows, and a perfect use of kraft paper – pull it all together.  It’s a wonderful design to help tell a lovely home-made family story…from the berry picking to the sweet, sweet bottled jam!  Great work, kirplnk!! :o)  Oh and you must check out kirplnk’s amazing gallery, especially her use of the August projectScrap templates!!  Two-page perfection!!

Congratulations, kirplnk!  Watch your e-mail (and don’t forget to check your SPAM folders if you don’t see it!) for a $10 gift card to the Shabby Shoppe …and enjoy your shoppe-ing!

A big THANKS to EVERYONE that posted LO’s in the gallery last week (it was lots of fun to look through them all!)…and thanks for stopping by the Blog today, we’re so happy you did!  Rosy will be here with you tomorrow with a very special product spotlight and some beautiful scrapping inspiration.  See you then!! :o)

LOTW

Good Monday Morning!  It’s me, Casharina with the latest layout of the week!  I had one of the busiest weeks last week!  My oldest baby girl turned SEVEN on Wednesday, we partied on Friday, and then headed to Gatlinburg, TN to Dollywood with family on Saturday!  Although it was a BLAST I was wore out, even so, I found it VERY relaxing to browse through all the beautifully inspiring layouts in the gallery.  There really were SO many gorgeous layouts in the gallery but it was my job to choose only ONE.  So without further ado here is the layout I chose:

I chose kkb42’s HenryJune layout for a number of reasons.  First of all this layout caught my eye in the gallery, the quilt-like look, the bright photos…it was just appealing to look at!  Once I clicked on it I found that I loved how she edited her photos; along with the patterned papers and title to all match the theme within her page.  Her play on the title is adorable too, “Son”shine ~ I love it!  The use of the stars from Sandbox, and flowers from Hopscotch used to create her flower clusters was a great idea.  I love that she was able to take inspiration from the Shabby Shoppe’s Gallery and create a page of her very own!

Congratulations kkb42!  Thanks for sharing this inspiring layout with us, please check your email and spam folders for a $10 gift card to enjoy some shoppe’ing fun!

Thanks for stopping by…we’ll be back again on Wednesday! :o)
