Whether you’re moving into fall right now like me in the U.S. or into spring like Kylie in Australia, they are often great times to be outdoors.

Let’s take some inspiration from the great outdoors as we speed scrap today!  And as you work on your layout, somewhere you should include the color yellow to represent the sun.  This can be in papers or elements and can be a lot of yellow or just a little.  It’s up to you!

1. Add two or three photos to your layout.  You may place them in frames if you like (not required).
2. Add 2 solid papers and 2 patterned papers
3. Add as much foliage as you want (greenery, leaves, etc) plus 3 different flowers (you can use as many of each as you like, but use only 3 different ones).
4. Add one wood OR metal element.
5. To represent wind, add an element or brush scatter.  It can be a scatter from a kit, or you can create your own scatter with an element or brush of your choice.  For ideas, check out Casharina’s tips on working with brushes and scattering -> HERE!
6. Add a title using a combination of an alpha and a font.

That’s it! :o) …you’ve now received all 6 of your instructions.  You may not add any other elements to your page that haven’t been explicitly stated in the instructions :o)  Also remember that fonts are “free” and you can add EXTRA journaling and/or a date to your page if you wish (as well as anything else you would like to do with fonts/text).

Please post your layout here by 5PM Eastern Daylight Time (one hour and ten minutes from now – so make sure you allow enough time!) in order to qualify for the prize drawings.  If you are having trouble uploading your layout to the gallery, you can find help HERE.

• The last instruction will be posted at 3:50PM (Eastern Daylight Time).  You’ll have an additional hour to “play with” your layout, but you must post your finished layout to the gallery HERE by 5:00PM (Eastern Daylight Time) to qualify for the prize drawings!

Grab a beverage and your favorite snack…and JOIN US right here at the BLOG at 3PM EST or technically EDT ~ as it is still daylight savings on SATURDAY, September 15th!!!  Over the course of ONE HOUR, we’ll give you basic scrapping instructions ONE AT A TIME, every TEN minutes.  At the end of the hour, you’ll have SIX instructions for creating a layout.  Just scrap along as each instruction is given out! ~ too easy!  Then, you’ll have one additional hour to finish up your layout and get it posted in the Shoppe’s FAST and FABULOUS gallery.

During the TWO ‘fast and fabulous scrapping’ HOURS, you can add any comments and/or questions you may have right here on the blog!  SP and I will be on hand to answer all your questions as they come in!

We know that the date and time may not suit absolutely everyone (time zones, busy schedules and the like!!)…we promise to continue rotating the days and times to make sure that we give everyone the chance to participate! :o)

So what time will it be where you are…?  Calculating time zones certainly gets a bit tricky, doesn’t it?! LOL!!  Here is a LINK to a website that helps me out all the time…just click HERE and it will open a new page.  As an example, I just put in the Fast & Fabulous date and time, and then chose ‘USA – New York – New York’.  And then in the next section, I added where I live…and clicked on ‘convert time’…easy!!

So mark your calendars and join us on SATURDAY, September 15th at 3PM EST (United States EST time)!  We’ll be sure to remind you again as we get closer to the event date, too!  We’d truly love to see you back with us again OR for the very first time…to scrap fast and fabulous TOGETHER!

1. Find ONE special photo and something to frame it. For your choice of frame you can be as creative as you want – an actual frame, a brush/stamp, stitching, paper matting, etc.
2. Add TWO solid papers and THREE patterned papers to your layout.  The patterns should be one polka-dot, one plaid and one other style just for fun! (Do you have a striped paper that coordinates with the other papers instead of a plaid? Here is super quick tip from Rosy to turn that stripe into plaid – Click here!)
3. Add FOUR different types of elements to your page. You may use as many of each element type as you wish. Some examples of element types: buttons, flowers, stickers, ribbons, etc.
4. Find FIVE places to add a fastener. Some examples of fasteners: tape, stitching, photo corners, staples, brads, pins, etc. You can use more than one type.
5. Add as much or as little journaling as you want…but you need to start your journaling off with a QUESTION in one font…and then ANSWER it in another font. (…any extra text and dates are considered ‘freebies’ – so that means it is totally up to you what you add to your page and where)
6. Finally, add a teeny-tiny TITLE and you’re done!

That’s it! :o) …you’ve now received all 6 of your instructions.
