Here is what Five17Creations (Kim) had to say about her page “(This is) a spread from my daughter’s baby book. I thought I’d post because I love this layout. I really wanted to include a piece of the past in my daughter’s book, so these are all kinds of family pictures from different times. I’ve been doing so many pages for her book that I haven’t posted all of it here. But I am excited to say I have finished and ordered it today! It has tons of Shabby Shoppe stuff in it!”

Hello to all of our awesome blog readers. It’s Anna here with another fabulous product spotlight!

What do I love about this collection? Basically- EVERYTHING!!! But my favorite thing is its colorful alpha. The first time I saw those letters, I had to have them!!!  See how cute they look in my layout – aren’t they FUN?!

I love the way SP described her awesome kit:  “he he…GIGGLE BOX :o) even the name makes me smile! this super duper fun and cheery kit was inspired by our little man – he is sooooooo full of laughter all the time and it is a joy to watch! i was often called a ‘giggle box’ as a child (still am LOL)…and the name has stuck with him, too! so, this kit had to be made :o)  the collection is full of shabby and richly textured papers, a fun and colorful alpha…and lots of embellishments including some great buttons, ricrac, paper word strips, epoxy buttons (my fave), digi stamps, journaling blocks, strings and more! there is so much in this collection to keep you scrapping page after page and laugh after laugh!”

AAWWW – This sweet layout by Rachel melts my heart! She also used the new easy as pie templates ::: garden party

Mariquita created this fantastic two-pager as a little tribute to her children’s  kindergarten called “Quiquines.” All of her kids went there at 2 years old including her youngest “Catalina” who is going right now because she is 2 and 1/2.  Mariquita plans to print these pages and give them to the owner as a special gift! Fabulous idea!!!

And last, but definitely not least (as I always like to end my posts on a perfect note), we have the uber-talented, Kylie!!!

Hello to all you wonderful digiscrappers!!! Happy Monday! It’s Anna here with another fabulous Layout of the Week! I was so excited to look through your pages today and I just spent the last three fabulous hours getting caught up in all the beauty of our inspiration gallery! What wonderful layouts you post!  And, oh my, what a hard decision this was for me!

I finally chose jessg26 as the winner with her fabulous May Beach Day.

I loved the sweet photos of her daughter Leah on their day at Moonlight Beach. She took inspiration from Kylie’s embellishment techniques and I think jessg26 has done an incredible job with her element clusters. Her journaling is marvelous – I must use that font (Pea Zingy!)  I also love that she used the  new Shabby Shoppe’s easy-as-pie templates ::: garden party! with this week’s Product Spotlight:  Sandbox and the sandbox SUMMER additions …along with a touch of Blossom, Twirl, and HopScotch added to the mix.  JUST PERFECTION!

Oh my word – I had the most difficult time choosing the Layout of the Week today. Why was it so difficult? Mostly because everything was so gorgeous.  During my decision making process, I (Anna) had five tabs open at one time. I kept switching back and forth between the layouts until I finally had to do an eenie, meenie, mineey… moe!  The final decision came down to “Growing Up” by Mamabean.

I love the clusters of flowers and all the beautiful little details in her “growing up” page! But, most of all, I love what Mamabean wrote about her layout: “Charlie has a lovely book called ‘What the Ladybird heard’ with a tiny little red ladybird hidden on every page…..it’s what inspired me to ‘hide’ one on this page.”  Do you spy a spot of red on this layout?

I’m so glad Mamabean won because not only did she post the beautiful creation above, but four other pages that I just loved – especially this seriously cute layout!
