since I fail to upload my thought directly to my layout, I wanna share my thoughts here:

I can’t believe I managed, but it’s true: every single item on the layout has not been used by me before. (including the font ;-)) if I’m not mistaken, ‘cause I do have a short memory span quite frequently *hihi*

I opened all my SP folders one after the other, pulled out items I hadn’t used (but liked) and dragged all of them onto an empty page. in the course of action, I could already tell a colour direction. I did end up recolouring quite a bit though.

I also had decided on a photo beforehand, actually thinking it would have to be turned into a BW one, in this project but it turned out that it was not necessary.

so since there are not comfy elements on this layout, it feels a bit alien, yet I like it and I just loved being challenged that way! kim, this was such a great idea!!! it really broadens one's scrapbooking horizon!

This particular one I played around with and made myself (although in fairness I was looking at someone else's layout as inspiration when I made it). But I also just did a layout for the Olivia spotlight post this week, and you may be thinking of that one too. That layout WAS made from a template by Cindy Schneider. She has a bunch of the "sunburst" shapes out right now.

Kim, where did you get the sun vector that I've seen in several of your LOs? I love that as an accent.

This was such a good idea, Kim! The best part was simply going through my stash and remembering what all is there! So much fun to look at all the pretties!
