Hi Amber!!

Thanks for scrapping along with us for projectSCRAP! YAY!! :o)

The guides are based on WHCC's bleed/safe lines for their 12x12 Hinged Book - see SP's last PS2011 post HERE! And for this particular album page the sides come in a bit further than the top and bottom. Now, there are sooooo many options out there for printing your albums at the end of the year and with that even more variations in the bleed line recommendations/requirements. Our template guides are just one example. Feel free to adjust the guides, if you know what dimensions your printing house prefers...or if you don't need guides then they can easily be turned off - eg. View -> Show -> Guides in photoshop.

Hope that helped answer your question :o)

Thanks for stopping by the blog ...and HAPPY SCRAPPING!!

Thank you for all of the PS2012 and 2011 templates. I love them. It keeps me from feeling totally overwhelmed and helps me stay motivated. Beside the fact that it is so easy. I have a question. Is there a reason that the guides on the templates are not the same on all sides? I don't know if you have answered this question in a previous post, but I wasn't sure if there was a particular reason. Thank you.
