Hi everyone!! Happy “Leap Day”! :o)
Kylie here…and I’m here to share next month’s FREE DESKTOP with you…just in time for tomorrow! Whether you are skipping into Spring, or Autumn (like me), a burst of floral goodness is what this desktop is all about…a little something to brighten up your computer screen and your day!

If you are interested in our free desktops, but have no idea how to insert your own photos – please visit our TUTORIALS page and refer to the USING THE PIECE-A-CAKE .PNG FILES TO CREATE AN ALBUM titles :o) We offer this tutorial in both screen shot and video format, for both Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. And, while the tutorial is not specifically for the desktops – the concepts are very much the same…and should help out a lot!
As a lil’ reminder, the text on the photo tab and the pic of my dear niece…well, they are on my preview example only – your download will be blank, of course :o) That way – you can personalise it with your own photo and messages. I also love this desktop. Other scrapping sites offer desktops, but the Shabby Shoppe ones are always the prettiest! Thanks so much! I love looking at it with my granddaughter’s picture–her birthday is in March!

…plus a few little pieces from other Shabby Princess kits. For the complete list, including font details, check out the TOU file in the Desktop download file…it’s all there if and when you need to refer to it! :o)

And I soooo know what you mean about the different seasons etc! I’m in Australia too, so when I design the desktops making them as versatile as possible is always an important consideration and something I always worry about. :o) But, I must confess that scrapping to a theme makes it so much easier and when the majority of our readers/customers are from the northern hemisphere it’s more than likely that the design will sometimes slant in that direction, kwim (thats ‘know what I mean’ in web shorthand! ;o) )?! Sometimes I feel like I have a split personality as far as seasons go!! LOL!!!

Thanks for your lovely reply, Kylie! :) That’s cool you are also in Aus!! So thoughtful of you to “think Spring” as we enter autumn!I totally get why you need to do that. You do absolutely amazing work and I hope you didn’t think I was ungrateful. I am really enjoying this wallpaper and inserted a pic of my sis with my son so I shared it with her also and she is loving it too :) You guys are really generous and I really appreciate you sharing such quality stuff for free.

Just a suggestion….I’m a Mac girl, and I was wondering if there would be any way you could offer the desktops in the opposite direction. You know with the photos and such on the left side instead of the right?

Hi. i love these and think its awesome you are so generous and provide them free, however, I live “downunder” where our seasons are opposite so when you are celebrating the dawn of spring we are welcoming autumn! Any way to adapt these so they fit our seasons and months? Thanks!!
