hey guys :o) SP back again…this time with the ‘real’ PROJECT SCRAP 2012 launch, lol! It’s been a whirlwind…trying to wrap-up project SCRAP 2011…and get 2012 going at the same time, lol…but I am truly excited about it…and hope you guys are, too :o) I soooooo enjoyed project SCRAP 2011…and LOOOOVE my album! I haven’t had much time to visit the gallery to know if many of you have posted album pics…but I really hope you do – we would ALL love to see! Anyhoo…this post is about project SCRAP 2012 - so i’ll move on, lol :o)
project SCRAP 2012 is going to work very much the same as 2011 did! There will be monthly templates…and next January – some cover templates as well :o) We’ll share the ‘new’ templates at the END of the month (for example – the February templates will be shared at the END of February)…and then I’ll do a ‘check-in’ post with layout examples early in the next month! That keeps us all up-to-date and inspired :o) It really is as simple as that! Well, you do have to take your TWO photos per WEEK (easy-peasy, right?)! We supply the monthly templates (two each month – to create a ‘spread’) and try our best to keep everyone motivated and involved! We can only do so much though…you can HELP by posting YOUR layouts in the gallery! We have a new project SCRAP 2012 gallery setup for you…so be sure to post any 2012 layouts there!
So, to start off project SCRAP 2012…we have our new, January templates! LOVE THESE and can’t wait to see your pages :o) here ya go:

NOTE: if you are completely NEW to our fun (and practical) SCRAPPING PROJECT – please check out THIS POST…it will fill you in on all of the details and offer some great info, and hopefully help everything to make sense! It was our official project SCRAP launch post last year – and I rambled on forever…and didn’t want to add all of that here again, lol! But, be sure to CHECK IT OUT as it spells everything out (hopefully clearly, lol)!
I’ll be checking in with you guys on your January pages around the middle of February…and hope we have TONS of layouts in the GALLERY! I truly believe this is a WONDERFUL and PRACTICAL way to get our photos scrapped…or I can assure you – I wouldn’t be doing it, lolol! Life is so busy…but this project allows me to stay up-to-date with ease…and best of all – I get to avoid that awful feeling of BEING BEHIND (you guys know how difficult it is to catch up once you fall behind in your scrapping…and while this might not completely solve that…it will keep you from getting even MORE behind, lol)!
Alright…that does it for now…would LOOOOOOVE for you guys to ‘sign-up’ for project SCRAP 2012 with a comment on this post :o) We love having some idea of how many might be joining us…AND, it will help to keep you motivated, too - i promise, lol! there is something about ‘signing up’ that makes it more ‘real’…and you end up feeling accountable (to yourself, if no one else, lol)! Of course you do not have to…but it’s fun to ‘get to know’ all of our project SCRAP buddies!

~*~a FINAL NOTE~*~ I wanted to let you guys know that while we share our project SCRAP templates for FREE…we are soon going to be removing all of our template downloads from project SCRAP 2011! If you missed any, and would like them – grab ‘em quick, as within a couple of weeks – they will no longer be offered for free here at the blog! however, we will be bundling ALL of the 2011 templates together and adding them to the Shabby Shoppe (at a great price!)! We just can’t keep them out there forever…and I think this is the best ‘compromise’! Of course, the 2012 templates will be shared here at the blog, free of charge – until we begin project SCRAP 2013 next year (another great incentive to stay involved, he he)! thanks for understanding :o) –SP–

I’m really in love with shappy’s products. I wish I could have any contribution. I wanna give support to u by shopping your products, but In vietnam, I got some difficulty because of complicated payment process. Last year I failed to do the photobook I wanted to gift to my mom and my mother in law for Xmas.

I can’t wait to scrap 2012! I started PS2011 mid year, and worked nearly every day to complete 2011 in 2011… I only had a couple pages left when 2012 began, so mostly successful! Problem now is I am itching to keep scrapping, and have run out of pictures now that I am keeping up with each month! :) January is done and February has hardly begun! So glad to be working on this project throughout the year. Thanks for the templates and the commitment for this year!

Fantastic templates to work with, I know we are supposed to scrap about the whole month, but I had too many photos to choose from! plus we usually only go somewhere different once a month, so keeping in mind it’s a year long project that will be my focus to scrap our travels together (as we live alone on a farm!)

Thank you so much for doing this again! I faithfully did my pages and ended up with the memory books for grandparents done the day after Christmas…and with no stress from doing it all in December like past years! I didn’t post to the gallery in 2011 because I was too lazy to keep track of what supplies I used…but I’m planning to be better about that this year. I even blogged about it on my site…Chaos Served Daily, so I hope more people will join in the fun!

I’m ready to get back into scrapping, I spent last year being very sick and pregnant and then dealing with a colicky newborn. He is finally starting to get a little better so hopefully I can keep up in 2012!

I just watched last year, cause I went on a scrapping hiatus (cause I was pregnant and feeling yucky, then I had a newborn), but this year I’m going to do it. Good to see you are continuing it for another year. Can’t wait to get started on the templates.

Although I’ve only completed 2011 through August, I intend to get it finished. I am working on a 365 project as well, so I should have plenty of photos. I hope to do both 365 and Project Scrap 2012 as Project Scrap gives me more opportunity to journal about our month-to-month activities.

I’ve been following Project Scrap 2011 and really thought it was such a great idea. I’ve done a year in review book before, but this method seems like it will be easier. I just have to get in the habit of making sure I take those photos. I tend to have spurts of time when I don’t pick up the camera, and then I’ll shoot almost every day for a bit. I’m going to give Project Scrap 2012 a try and hopefully make it all the way through. **Fingers crossed**

I’m getting my 100 page 10×10 2011 book printed at Viovio. I love the lay flat look of SP’s book by WHCC but just can’t swing the cost on my huge book, and I’ve printed at Viovio before and am pleased with their quality for the price.
