It’s almost time!!

In just a short while we’ll post the first instruction right here on the blog! If you’ve never done an event like this before, you’re in for a treat! Here’s a little more information on how things will work:
- I’ll provide one instruction for you every 10 minutes.
- Often the instruction will tell you a type of material to use. If no specific instruction is given on how to use that piece of material, then that means it’s totally up to you!
- Fonts…Fonts are “freebies” and can be used without being explicitly called for in the instructions. This is primarily because journaling is a personal preference, and some folks love it and some don’t :)
- If you have questions about the instruction, please post a comment to the blog. We’ll answer your questions as quickly as possible!
- The last instruction will be posted at 10:50AM EST. You’ll have an additional hour to “play with” your layout, but you must post your finished layout to the gallery HERE by 12 MIDDAY EST to qualify for the prize drawings!
We’ll post the FIRST INSTRUCTION at 10AM EST!
We hope to see you then! :o)

I am pretty much new to this digital scrap booking. I LOVE it!! I am excited for this event!! About 1 hour & 20 minutes to go!! No confusion for me, thank goodness, I’m in EST :) See you ladies soon!!
Nov 12, 2011 @ 09:12:16
Wow thanks for the advice..I have the time set as a pop up window, (forgot about daylight savings too!)so thanks for that, yes I’m still here, sorry to keep commenting but I have a question? this is my first attempt, do we start with a blank transparency 12×12 or is there a template used????
Nov 12, 2011 @ 09:22:29
No worries!! Happy to help! :o)
We don’t offer a template for the Fast and Fabulous speed scrap…so that means you start with a blank 12×12 (OR whatever size you prefer to scrap) ‘canvas’.
You could start with one of our other templates and then manipulate it as per the speed scrap instructions…but to me that would make it all too confusing!! LOL!

Thanks Kylie, you have been such a help (and keeping me awake too!!!) just kidding, I’m so awake at 2:45am! and ready…so exciting!!!

The last post i did timed at 8:31, so does that mean just 1 and a half hours to 10:00am? I’m confused Its 1:33 am here. please twitter so I know. i follow you on twitter.
Nov 12, 2011 @ 08:58:08
Yes, it’s a little confusing…sorry about that! The clock on the blog comments is one hour ahead of the current EST (USA time). And as we are all on different time zones here I’ve never really taken much notice! LOL!
Now if you want to keep an eye on the time in the states well here is a good website you can look at…just find USA-New York-New York on the list of countries.

Can’t wait..it’s 12:45am here in New Zealand, been looking forward to it! how long now?
Nov 12, 2011 @ 08:01:16
Oh sweetie, it’s not for another THREE HOURS! If you can manage to play along then wonderful!!!…but we’ll completely understand if you want to go to bed and sleep. And remember, the next one we hold will be at a different time (hopefully better suited to us in the asia/pacific region, hey?!!) so that might suit you better.
Thanks!!!! :o)
