Hi everyone!!!  WE’RE BACK!!!  YAY!!! :o)  Kylie here…with our first post since our lovely little 2-week blog vacation!  Did ‘ya miss us?!!…we sure missed you guys…and hope that you all had a happy, healthy and fun time while we were away!! :o)  The whole two weeks flew by so quickly (and I mean SUPER quick!!)…and it’s funny too, because it also seems as if it has been like forever since I last posted…ever get that feeling?!!  But now we’re back and ready to blog, blog, BLOG!  We have a FULL week of posts lined up for you this week, so be sure to stop by each day for all the FUN!!!

Today we are all in for a scrapping treat!  Not one but THREE Layout of the Week ‘winners’!!  Even though the Shabby Shoppe Blog was on a bit of a break, our gallery was still very busy…filling with inspiration, day after day, week after week!!  I LOVE my daily gallery browsing (although it’s been more like express browsing over the last month or so!) …and over the last few weeks I’ve loved looking at all the heartfelt & touching pages, the super creative ones and those that are just plain fun!!  The gallery was overflowing with fantabulous posts from both old and new members, awesome Easy-As-Pie Template Challenge 16 pages (entries closing soon!…so be sure not to miss out!), and gorgeous project SCRAP updates!  I’m also loving all the new pages featuring a little GRACIE sweetness too!!  And, they ALL bring a smile to my face!  So, let me share with you the layouts that brought the widest smiles to my face!

First we have ‘My hat‘ by the lovely cristiane!

How sweet is this page?!!…pure sweetness!!  Love the pretty papers and all those little treasures tucked along the top and bottom.  So many layers ~ I’m always a big fan of that! ;o)  Fabulous job, cristiane!  And little Lara is such a cutie-pie in her sunshiney hat!  Just look at that bright smile in the last pic…sweet, sweet, sweet!

Next we have a gorgeous birthday invitation designed by the very, very talented krzymnky!

Seriously, WOW!!!!!!  krzymnky built the design up with simple shapes in photoshop and then clipped them with Shabby Princess papers…beyond CLEVER!!  And what perfect paper choices - so much depth created just in simply choosing the right tones and patterns.  You’ve gotta love the little buttons on the fire wood and the pretty little details on the tent and backpack.  An amazing birthday invitation…and the party sounds like it is going to be a super-fun time, not to mention extra-YUMMY!  Great work, krzymnky!

And last, but not at all least, we have a very special layout, ‘I want to remember‘ by Grant&Lauren’sMom!

I couldn’t resist this classic looking page…the dark background with those awesome blocks of bright color!  The photographs are awesome and take center stage!  And what makes this page extra-perfect is the story and feeling behind it…it’s what scrapping is all about and you can’t beat that!!  Grant is one very talented boy…and so is his Mom!!  Thanks for sharing your talents with us!!
