Hi everyone!! :o) Kylie here with next month’s FREE DESKTOP! September is the perfect time for a little HOPSCOTCH fun! It’s one big smile on a page!!! And here is something else to smile about…we have two desktops on offer this time round! Choices, choices! ;o) We’ve added a few super-cute back to school sticker elements and some old-school lined paper from the hopscotch SCHOOL additions…so if you’ve got little ones (or big ones) that have just started back at school our second desktop is just the thing to display a sweet first day photo!! You’ll get both versions in your download…then all you have to do is choose. And, don’t laugh now, but I’ll probably rotate the desktops throughout September, just because the school stickers are just so stinkin’ cute…I don’t want to miss out on all the fun!! ;o)

As always, the text on the little red tab…’play’ & ‘count’… is only on my example – yours will be blank :o) That way – you can customize your desktop as you wish by adding your own names, messages, photo dates etc.
And remember that you can always find our latest free desktop by clicking the FREE DESKTOPS category located on the right side of the blog!
I also want to mention that – if you are interested in our free desktops, but have no idea how to insert your own photos – please visit our TUTORIALS page and refer to the USING THE PIECE-A-CAKE .PNG FILES TO CREATE AN ALBUM titles :o) We offer this tutorial in both screen shot and video format, for both Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. And, while the tutorial is not specifically for the desktops – the concepts are very much the same…and should help out a lot!

Thanks for always offering these. They make me happy.
Is there any way you could start offering a 1600 X 900 size? I’m pretty sure it’s the new standard widescreen. If not, that’s ok. I always download the 1280 x 800 and just change the size.

That’s pretty cool, Anna, thanks.
My screen is 1680×1050 and I use the 1280×800 version. It doesn’t distort.
You can also find your screen resolution by right-clicking on a clear part of your desktop, click on Properties, click the Settings tab and you’ll see the resolution to the left of the rainbow color bar. (That’s for XP Pro anyway.)
