project SCRAP check-in :o)

hello hello! SP here today…with a fun check-in for our project SCRAP :o) Ya know what…I have to tell you guys…I started this project with mixed emotions – wondering if it was something I really wanted to ‘take-on’…in more ways than one, lol! It’s been a big undertaking for all of us at the Shoppe (certainly not just me, lol)…but I have to say that it has also been SO worth it! hmmm…I sound like we are wrapping up the year or something, lol…NOT YET! but, it’s just that I am SO happy to have seven months/spreads COMPLETE…I mean that has just never happened before! I don’t feel the guilt that I normally do…where I know that I am not up-to-date…and that I am missing/forgetting important events and moments from the year, kwim?! But not just that…I REALLY love the pages I have, lol! Thanks to the templates…there is a cohesive feel and flow to the pages and I am so excited to see the final book/album when we get there! So, you guys stay on track with me (the good thing is that since I do these check-ins…I CAN’T get behind, lolol)…and let’s finish STRONG :o)

Can I just tell you that I had the MOST fun with the JULY templates?! I loved Kylie’s design on these…the circle was like a ‘breath of fresh air’ – and Goodness knows I had PLENTY of photos to fill it with this month, lol! For many of us (at least in the US)…July 4th is a big part of July – and like many of you – I had LOTS of pics from our celebrations! But, the month was full of other FUN stuff, too – so I tried to balance it out a bit :o) Will definitely have to add a couple of July 4th pages in my album though…just so many pics, lol! Anyway – let’s get on with it, huh? :o) Here are my July pages…

Thankfully…I am not alone in this project :o) And, fortunately for you guys…we have more inspiration than just mine, lol! Have you guys had a chance to peek at the project SCRAP gallery lately? If you haven’t…you must do so :o) It is truly overflowing with AMAZINGLY FABULOUS inspiration for this wonderful project we have all been working on together! I love seeing how everyone interprets the templates…adds their own ‘style’ and flair! I just think it is so fun that we all start with with the same ‘blueprint’…but all end up with our own custom pages! Speaking of which…how about a few of my July faves from the project SCRAP gallery? I know it’s kinda early…but I can’t wait to see the gallery fill up with more July spreads :o)

First, we have Kylie’s! While it is SOOOOO hot here (and I’m sure for many of you, too)…I just really enjoy seeing her COOL, WINTER pages, lol! Isn’t it so fun that we experience opposite seasons at the same time? lol! I have the pleasure of having a weekly ‘screen-to-screen’ chat with Kylie…and it cracks me up that I am in a tank top and shorts…and she is all bundled up :o) But, about her pages – FABULOUS as ALWAYS! Love her use of the Darling Paper Collection…and her ability to mix and match elements and kits (to perfection)! And, I just can’t get enough of her precious nieces :o)

I am a HUGE fan of PrimevalPixie’s gallery…she has filled it with so many fabulous and FUN pages…and her July project SCRAP spread is NO exception! LOVE all of the family pics…and how it all just screams SUMMER! perfect, perfect perfect! Thank you so much for inspiring us :o)

Finally…we have jessg26′s July pages! Like me, she went with Summer Cottage (not only perfect for Independence Day pics…but for summer/beach/lake in general!) – and it was the perfect choice for all of her photos! The casual feel of the pics and papers are fabulous for hot, summer pages! and just look at that little beach cutie, lol! all of the pics are beyond precious! oh, and while you are in jessg26′s gallery – you have to see her SPLASH PARK page…it is SOOOOOOOOOOOO sweet!

Okie Dokie :o) I think that should do it for project SCRAP today! Keep scrapping away…and please remember to upload your layouts so we can all see! You never know just how inspiring your pages might be for someone!

I’ll be back soon-ish (hopefully by the weekend…but don’t hold me to it) with a couple of new items for the Shoppe - YAY! Won’t be a HUGE release…but I’m super excited to tell you that I am working on a new KIT (yep…a whole KIT, lolol) and am LOVING it…and having a LOT of fun with it!
