Hello everyone! Rachel here with my first Food Friday recipe for the Shabby Shoppe blog :)
I have a really quick and amazingly yummy jello dessert for you guys. It is always the first thing gone at family gatherings, and is just perfect for summer time! Seriously, this recipe could not be easier! It does have a bit of waiting time in between, and you do have to make sure you don’t forget about it (or you will just get jello that won’t be pourable into the crust). But, too early, and you will end up with mush. But it’s really not difficult, ANYONE can do this!!

Ingredients:
-
2 jello packages (orange jello is our fave)
-
½ cup melted butter or margarine
-
¼ cup sugar
-
2 cups graham wafer crumbs
-
1 tub of cool whip
Simple right?! So you want to prepare the Jello according to the instructions on the box and set in fridge until it is almost set. While that is in the fridge - mix butter, sugar & graham wafer crumbs together. Place in an 8×8 cake pan/baking dish, and bake for 6-8 minutes. Let it cool. When your jello is ready (you will know because it will be almost set but not completely… make sure it’s not runny either, as that will make your crust soggy), simply pour it over the crust. Place back in the fridge until totally set. When set, spread a layer of cool whip on, and then sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over the top. Keep in fridge until ready to serve. See - simple & OH SO GOOD!
Although this recipe is almost easy enough to commit to memory, I’ve created this cute (4×6″) recipe card for you to use at home. You can click HERE to download, or simply click the image below. Hope you enjoy!

Thanks for stopping by the blog today…and have a WONDERFUL weekend! We’ll see you back here on MONDAY for LOTW with SP!

Hi everyone! Kylie here and I’m so excited to host the blog’s latest Template Challenge - lucky number THIRTEEN! I had a wonderful time creating this month’s template to share with you all. It’s a little “busier” than the last few challenge templates – but hey, you know me… can’t help but throw in a few extra pieces when I can! ;o)
I hope you enjoy scrapping with this template as much as I did putting it together. And remember, a template is just a starting point. A collection of shapes that need some love and attention! So by all means, add to it, take off some elements, rotate it… SCRAP IT YOUR WAY! I’m really looking forward to seeing how everyone brings this easy-as-pie template to life. To help your page grow into something special - just add your precious photos and stories, your scrapping style, and of course, all those beautiful Shabby Princess products!
To download…CLICK HERE (or simply click the preview image below)!

So, before we get to the amazing inspiration… let’s go over the GUIDELINES for our template challenges here at the Shoppe?!
The ‘deadline’ for this challenge is JULY 3rd :o) We will announce the template challenge winner on July 7th, when we share Template Challenge FOURTEEN! As you probably know, we now announce the winner on the same day we debut a new template challenge. The ‘winner’ of the challenge will receive a $25 gift card to the Shabby Shoppe! Please note that for our template challenges… we select the ‘winner’ randomly – so everyone has a chance to win… beginners and experienced scrappers! It’s a great way to jump in and give digi scrapping (and templates) a try :o)
In order to be entered into the template challenge – you must post your layout in the Shabby Shoppe’s gallery (in the SHOPPE BLOG CHALLENGES gallery) and then post a comment HERE at our blog (on this post only) with a link to your layout in our gallery. This will enter you into the challenge :o) Please keep in mind that all layouts must contain at least 75% SP product (purchased or free). To be eligible for the challenge – you must scrap with the easy-as-pie layered template!
We also have several fun ways for you to obtain ‘EXTRA’ entries to the challenge (please note that in order to qualify for any EXTRA entries – you must first complete a layout with our easy-as-pie template and submit that to our gallery and blog) :o)
- For an extra entry, leave a SEPARATE comment letting us know that you have one of our blinkies (available by clicking on the blinkies link in the sidebar) either on your blog or in all of your forum signatures (be sure to include a link to your blog or signature in your post).
- For an extra entry, leave a SEPARATE comment letting us know that you have facebooked or twittered about our template challenge (don’t forget to include the link in your post).
- For an extra entry, leave a SEPARATE comment letting us know that you have blogged about our template challenge (again, be sure to add your blog link to your post).
So, that means that you have the possibility of entering the challenge up to 4 times! Just be sure each entry is a separate comment, as we will be using a random number generator to choose the winner. Be sure to get your entries in by MIDNIGHT (eastern time) on JULY 3rd, and again…the winner will be announced in early July (the 7th to be exact)!
