Product Spotlight – Silly Boy:::CuddleBUG

Hello to all our wonderful Shabby Shoppe Blog Readers! It’s Anna here with another incredible Product Spotlight.  One of the first kits I purchased when I came to love the Shabby Shoppe is being spotlighted today!

It’s Silly Boy:::CuddleBUG! (on SALE for only $4.95 for a limited time)!!!

This kit brings back many memories, I’ve scrapped so many layouts of my boys with this classic collection.

The United States celebrates Mother’s Day on the second Sunday in May. That makes Mother’s Day this Sunday, May 8th!!!  Wouldn’t it be fun to use the Cuddlebug ALBUM to create something extra special for Mom?! It’s on SALE for only $5.95,  for a limited time, too!

Take a look at all the creations from our fabulous team (be sure to visit the Shabby Artist Gallery for more information and credits)!

Kylie went above and beyond! She loved the kit so much she created these three incredible layouts!

Look at this gorgeous page from SP

Just look at Beckie’s little sharp dressed man…

I just love Mariquita’s future heartbreaker!

And finally, I had to scrap a layout about my silly boy!

I know after seeing all of these fun pages, you will want to pick up Silly Boy:::CuddleBUG! We would love to see some of your layouts created with this excellent kit! Link us up in the comments and happy scrapping!!!  Thanks so much :)

    Lots of great inspiration! I love the one with the slide, how the paper strips mirror the vertical slide. Lots of super pages!

    I really liked the Muddy’s layout by Kylie? I love the effect of the background blue going to the spotted background. How was that done? Was that part erased?

      Thanks so much Renata!
      I used a photo mask and clipped the spotty cuddlebug paper over it. The mask was a freebie I had stashed in my collection so no erasing needed. You can always make your own though – click on this link for a tutorial I did on blending – it also talks about making your own mask in photoshop: http://www.theshabbyshoppe.com/blog/index.php/2010/07/28/shoppe-tips-and-tricks-blending-modes/
      By making your own you can be as creative as you like – try out different brushes and edit the final shape to suit your layout etc! HAVE FUN!!!

    I love how you girls made made modern and update to layouts with an older kit. Just shows how timeless SP’s kits are! Great job everyone!

    This is one of my favorite kits (I think I say that about all the kits) but it’s especially great for BOYS!! I also love that it has a subtle western feel without all the expected western elements — I scrapped Sheriff Woody with it and it was fabulous. And doodles are so in right now, it has plenty of those to play with. If you don’t have this kit, you should get it!
