Not so sure about this information. I was always taught differently, but hey! It's nice people have different opinions and methods isn't it?

Hi!

I just love the desktops, all of theme!
But there is one thing I wish you could do. Since I´m from Sweden and we, like many others in Europe, use Mon-Sun calendars, could you perhaps make the dates in a seperate png? That way it'd be easy to put in my own dates, and no extra trouble for you really. I kept looking at the wrong dates last year, silly me. ;)Got a bit confusing... LOL.

Thanks for all the beautiful stuff you are handing out here.

Hi crewtondix!!

Thanks for asking! When there are photo frames that overlap I usually create a new shape layer for each photo, a rectangle in this case. I position each new shape layer under each frame, line it up and then use the shape as a clipping mask for my photo. Decrease the photo size, move it around etc until I'm happy with the fit. If you are unfamiliar with creating shapes in your particular software, it is generally a quick and easy process so, have a look at your software HELP options and check out the Shabby Shoppe tutorials - in particular the 'clipping masks'. http://www.theshabbyshoppe.com/tutorials/software_tutorials.asp

Hope I've been able to help you out here! :o)

Hi Helen C!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!! :o)

There are some great tutorials on the Shabby Shoppe site. You can find them here:
http://www.theshabbyshoppe.com/tutorials/software_tutorials.asp

To add a photo to the desktop the “Piece-a-cake” tutorials will show you how, so if you use photoshop click on this link: http://www.theshabbyshoppe.com/tutorials/piece_a_cake_tutorial.html
and if you use photoshop elements click on this link:
http://www.theshabbyshoppe.com/tutorials/piece_a_cake_tutorial.html

There are video tutorials with both of these options too!

Hope this helps! And, have fun scrapping!! :o)

This is the first time I've used one of your desktops, and it's beautiful - but I can't figure out how to put my own pics in it. Can you please help?

As usual, I LOVE it! I know that I have mentioned this before- but I put pictures of our girls into the desktops each month and email them to my mom (who is young but very disabled due to MS and homebound). I know that she loves to get them and I am so thankful for beautiful desktops each month to send her. :)
THANK YOU!

Thanks for making it easy for us!
